Gibush: Ah, thank you all! I understand now. I'm just going to wait a little while in case Steam has it on an even better sale today.
*Pulls hair out and runs away screaming*
Hi.

Is there anyone from the UK or US who could gift me HL2 Ep. 1 and 2, since it's cut here in Germany. You'd get the money via Paypal before the trade, of course.

Today's Steam deals include franchise sales for the ARMA, Dragon Age and Assassins Creed series, as well as Two Worlds 2 for $17(!) and Torchlight for $2.99.

Two Worlds 2 sure is tempting.

Not sure they will have a sale this year as they are a bit busy with sorting out their free to play service. As the first beta test starts on the 11th (with the initial invites going out on Monday).
In all fairness, GG has a sale going on for many weeks now with several games on sale each day. Yes, not in the 80% category, but still...

]So there will not be a Paradox sale with a better discount than on Steam ? :(

You'll have to ask Paradox about that.
The Penny Arcade games are on sale on Steam for $1.20 each or $1.60 USD for both of them. It was a fun experiment that never got completed, as I hear part 2 ends with a cliffhanger, but I haven't played it so I don't rightly know.

For $1.60 these games are easily worth it. I hear they've got about 10-15 hours of enjoyment a piece, give or take, but that's insanely cheap considering they're a throwback to some of the older RPG's we all know and love in some ways.

If you're thinking about it but unsure, youtube some clips of the combat mechanics. They're fun and the specialty moves each have a minigame associated with them. Plus the one dude fights bad guys with a rake, I got major laughs from that, not sure if you feel the same.

They're hidden under the "Games for $5" page and not on the main page anywhere that I saw. Definitely worth a look and for less than the cost of a soda in the supermarket, even if you get an hour of entertainment out of one of these games, it's worth it.

BTW with all the the Tell Tale fans here: good ole P&C Adventure Jolly Rover is $3.40 on Steam. And it´s really funny!

Yeah it is ..... and I just gave in and bought it ... what with GOG and Steam , I am now officialy broke ! :o
Jolly Rover and Penny Arcade are the next games I'll buy from Steam.
Thera are also some other nice point and click adventures available for a very cheap price: Jack Keane, Axel & Pixel, Ankh series, Still Life, Mata Hari...
After going AWOL for a long time, Shark is finally back on sale on Gamersgate at $5. I urge everyone to buy this, it's a great coffee break game. Soothes your nerves, and let's face it, who's never fancied playing the role of the big bad from Jaws?
