I have never been a completionist (or whatever they're called) but I actually achieved almost every damn award available. I even completed multiple difficulty levels so that I could play the predator and arena maps on easier/ harder difficulty.

So I concur.

Seems that Daggerdale is now out on Impulse for $14.99. Buying it now also nets you a free copy of Baldur's Gate Complete [AKA Baldur's Gate: The Original Saga] (Baldur's Gate and Tales of the Sword Coast).

Daggerdale is still not released on GamersGate (apparently uses SecuROM) or Steam (using Steamworks by all accounts).

Impulse make no mention of what DRM they use.

bansama: No. GFWL doesn't have a gifting option. Only way to "gift" on GFWL is by trusting someone else to log into your account and buy it for you. Or by having them send you a GFWL points card for the region your GFWL account is set to.

In short, only use the first option for a brand new GFWL account. Once you have games on it, you're pretty much SOL if you can't get points.

It's not uncommon for a great game to have a terrible, terrible demo, but I remember the Batman demo thread on these forums, and I think I was pretty much the only one who wasn't impressed by it. That makes me think that perhaps the problem is not that the demo doesn't represent the game, but that the game is not for me.

Apparently that's the name of the basic rifle (the first weapon you have access to), so yes.

Procedurally Generated (Random) 4X game in real time (sorta similar to Sins of a Solar Empire). Was fairly buggy when I played it a long time ago, but its definitely gotten better with patches.
