For the reasons you were unsure of buying it on Steam. See above.
Because it is Steam?

Catshade: Direct2Drive has a bundle of Meridian4 games (23 games total) for $60, and each one of them is 70% off if you only want to buy a few of them.

Mentalepsy: Shadowgrounds is $3, Shadowgrounds Survivor is $5. I'm playing the demo now and quite liking it. Anyone have a comment on these two?

I've only played Shadowgounds but I did like it. It was rather fun retro style horror shooter. Only problems were that it was rather short and had little to no replay value. Definately worth 3$ or more if you like the genre.

If only I was 2 years older, than I could buy the game if I liked it. Oh well! Just have to wait for it to end up here or on Steam but cheaper. =P
Ummm, does anyone know if Auidosurf is any good? It sounds freaking awesome since it changes the speed depending on your music...I could imagine playing this on Master of Puppets (Metallica....duh) or Falling Away From Me (Korn).

Oh yeah...it's damn good. Of all the Steam games I have, I play Audiosurf the most.

Financial wise, it's a good deal. If the total of the individual games you liked comes to $50 then go for the bundle. Even if you don't like some of them, you can give them as a gift to someone. Basically, if you enjoy some of the demo's then get them as you might not buy them latter over some newer or better games.
edit: D2D games require online activations for each installation and have a limited amount of activations. Usually 5. If you want to go the DRM free route then skip this deal as all of the games can be found one way or another.

PLayed the demo, loved the game and the ability to mod it =). Can't buy it right now, will have to wait for money to buy it on Steam.
Xbox 360 Pro for $229.99 on sellout.woot today. No idea if it's a Jasper though.

I have Audiosurf. It's a fun game for casual play, and great for when you don't just want to sit there and listen to your music, but want to do something else while you're listening to your music. If you can grab it for cheap, yeah, I'd say go for it.

It's $56.78 = £34.99 in the UK as well.
Yet more disgusting regional pricing. It's digraceful, thank GOG we don't have to worry about any of that nonsense here.
