gyokzoli: Divinity II + Sacred 2 bundle 75% off - 12,49 USD and it's only in the USA! They are fucking assholes!
avatar
bansama: Trust me, you don't want their version of Sacred 2 anyway. It's the US version thus cannot use the expansion pack.
$11 (with Survey2010 code) is a good enough price to pay for just Divinity II alone for those who are interested, since I don't think I've seen it go that low before. Sacred 2 is a bonus.

On the other hand, it is the BASIC form of Divinity 2. Supposedly pretty clunky, but fixed with the expanded version Dragon Knight Saga.

have tried neither.

Compared to DKS, Div II isn't really worth it either unless you can get the expansion for it.

fix-cz: You are kidding me, right? There is actually someone who is able to spend 60 bucks for stupid hats?

Mankind is sooooooooo fucked up!

orcishgamer: Geez man, my ex wife sold her WOW account for 800 bucks. That was years ago. People were paying over 2000 USD for accounts like mine back in vanilla WOW. Yes, people spend money on digital crap. I used to think this was far more stupid than I now do. After considering some of what Jane McGonigal has to say, I'm not so sure my earlier assumptions about the whole thing hold true.
This reminds me, y'all should read that Cory Doctorow book For The Win. Sure it's published by Tor Teen, but that doesn't mean you won't like it.
Code "drawn199" gets you Drawn: The Painted Tower for $2 @ Big Fish.

(Not sure how long coupon is valid for)

FYI, at $2, that's a steal. Brilliant game. Although if you like achievements and all that, you might want to consider the Steam version (which, unfortunately, is $9.99 ish).
nvmd, :)

"Make the right move" strategy sale on GetGames

http://www.getgamesgo.com/catalogue/browse/Strategy-Sale

Empire, Napoleon, R.U.S.E., Men of War, Civilization 4&5 and more

Don't forget you can switch to $ or € or £ and pick the best price (some games are not being sold for $ though)
Is it possible to purchase medieval 2 total war off gamersgate and activate it on steam?

I like this site since you can buy the games in your choice of currency (USD, GBP or EUR) but for some reasons R.U.S.E. is removed from the list if you change the currency to USD.

And a question:

Which game do you guys recommend to buy?

RUSE or Napoleon/Empire TW. If you say Total War, which one?

I've never played any Total War games before but heard good things about them, although I'm not a fan of empire management. And as I heard, RUSE is a special RTS (RTS, right?). I like both turn based and real time strategy (an tactics) games.

D2D is doing 20% off First Person Shooters with the code whodareswins. Trouble is they forgot to validate the code so it comes up as expired...

He gives his books away for free anyway (not that I'm adverse to buying them as well). Little Brother is a pretty good read by him as well.

Little Brother was okay... felt unrealistic as plotlines could get compared to For The Win.

I don't know if I've read For The Win, even though I know about it. I should get on that.

Little Brother was a teen hero fantasy without any werewolves or vampires, that's kind of why it read like that, I suspect. What drew me to it was the message, "this is bullshit and wrong, fight back!" isn't something people say anymore.

And for the purists, accept my most humble apologies:

Amazon has buy one, get one 50% off on some games: http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html/ref=br_lf_m_1000666021_grlink_1?ie=UTF8&plgroup=1&docId=1000666021

I noted Bulletstorm and AC: Brotherhood in the list, PS3 has Dead Space 2 thrown into the mix. Also, NFS is on there. The DS games were anemic, save Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs, given the price disparity with other platforms, you'd want a second DS game worth buying and there isn't one.
