Tserge: Erm, the Prince of Persia: sands of time trilogy are on sale on Steam too.
Are the sequels any good? I've only played the 1st in the trilogy , bought from GoG of course.

I enjoyed them. I would rate the PoP games (since the PS2/Gamecube/Xbox trilogy), as follows:
Sands of Time > PoP 2008 > Two Thrones > Warrior Within
If you've played Sands, get PoP 2008 before the other two games.

anjohl: EVE at $5 is worth it for sure if you EVER want to try it...at the worst, it's a $5 1-month trial. Not bad. If the monthly fee turns you off that much, you just have to decide if investing $5 for an extended trial is worth it.
I think you can get a free month ANYWAY, so that's 2 months of play for $5. If EVE ditched the geeky point and click interface for a true space sim control scheme ala Freespace 2/Freelancer, I would be SO into that game. In all honesty though, the control scheme means I will *never* get into eve.

What do you mean by 2 months free? get the 14-days trial, register it, then buy the game?
To clear this subject, I receive a trial key for 14-days on e-mail or I got it already registered in-game? And the full subscription, is it typing a key or purchasing it in-game?

bansama: I would suggest you do the same. Especially the first and last (I doubt a dictionary would ever help you).

Is the trial 14 days? I thought it was a month for some reason back when I signed up for it. Even so, 45 days for $5 isn't bad, but 14 for $0 *might* be better. Only you can decide that.

9 days per dollar or 14 days for free? Your choice. =P

Yes, I'm deciding for myself, and it isn't a free 14,21 days that will make me like the game or not. I was just thinking how the subscription works, key based or what, tomorrow I'll have time then I'll search about this. Thanks for the comments. :)

anjohl: A thief sees only thieves.

Thank you for sharing your problem. I hope you manage to get help for it soon.
Stardock have announced the Impulse Cyber Monday deals:
Elven Legacy $14.99
Aztaka $7.50
Evochron Legends $19.95
Political Machine 2008 $1.99
Bullet Candy $1.99
The Corporate Machine $1.99
Lightweight Ninja $1.99
Just noticed that Evochron Legends is far cheaper in Europe at just €8.68. However the DRM listed is 1 Serial key per PC only. So you get one activation? Thats utterly insane, even Riddick gave you three activations.

anjohl: You can get the 21 day trial from steam then upgrade the account to a full one. You can also get the client from the eve site and not deal with steam all you need from them is the key. As for subs you can do it by credit card on the site, in game PLEX (game cards yuo buy in the game) and cards in stores.
Back on topic :D amazon has their cyber monday deals up

1 key per PC, not 1 activation per key.

melchiz: What happens when you change your OS or something drastic like the motherboard. That is a new PC as far as MS are concerned so yes it is one activation.

What the hell? You're quoting me as you and you as me? Madness!
From the developer:

That should answer your question, fine sir.
That was rather weird. I noticed quoting has gone funny on other threads as well, possibly a bug on the site as I know I quoted correctly.
That does sound better than the poor choice of words used on the Impulse site. Still I find it amusing they need to pass a fraud check before an activation code is e-mailed to you. Every retailer knows you never use the F word with customers as they immediatley think you are calling them a criminal.

Indie games, go figure!
Yeah the Steam deals for Sunday were pretty lackluster -- fail putting two MMOs on sale. Here's hoping for some $2 indie title on the final day. Maybe Defense Grid~
http://www.gamersgate.com/offers
Deals range from 10% off to 70% off. Some of them may be for today only, but GG don't make that too clear. The actual deals on offer may also vary depending on region. The list for me shows:
Civilization IV Complete Edition EU
Condemned - Criminal Origins
Hearts of Iron 3
Hearts of Iron 3
Hero's Tale Enhanced Edition
Light of Altair
Medieval 2 Total War Gold Edition
Risen
Ship Simulator 2006
Ship Simulator 2006 Addon
Ship Simulator 2008
Ship Simulator 2008 Collectors Edition
Ship Simulator 2008 New Horizons Addon
Tropico 3
Zombie Driver
Ship Sim 2006 is listed as Non-US only. Civ 4 is the EU version and Hearts of Iron 3 is listed twice =/
