The stronghold collection is very tempting, 5 games in one pack for a fiver and drm free. I already own the 1st game from here but it's still a bargain.

gyokzoli: And Planet Alcatraz (87 % - €2.67) which is a surprisingly good RPG

Voice acting sounds terrible. Is the story as bad as they say?
Total Annihilation isn't updated like the Impulse one, correct?
It's really hard to find a review for this game. The only place i could find anything on it was gamespot and that is only a players review who gave it a 5 out of 10.

I would not say it's terrible but not extraordinary either. But the game itself is full of jokes.

Well the impulse one says xp, vista and 7 and on GG it only says xp and vista.

That's not good news for starters. But I was under the impression that the Impulse version had been updated. Not only to ensure compatibility, but also with features like widescreen resolutions and the like. The GG version was supposed to be inferior. But I'm not clear on precisely how.

It's also possible that GG version does not come with expansions either as it's smaller in size than at Impulse (GG 790MB, Impulse 1.05GB) nor does GG mention them.

I'm liking what I'm reading of Spellforce 2. I bought Platinum here but haven't played it yet (it's on the pile) but apparently the sequel was a welcome improvement. I'm downloading the demo as I type this, but thoughts on it are appreciated. GG is selling the gold version for 5 bucks, so the price is enticing.
I like Spellforce 2 more than the original Spellforce. It's streamlined compared to 1, but I personally found it to be more fun that way. Of course, YMMV.
Two games caught my eye - "Heroes of Annihilated Empires" and "Gangland". Has anyone here played those two games? Any opinions you might want to share?

So at GG, 1 dollar = 1 euro? Sure I'll buy games from them.

Like Steam it depends on the publisher. But both need to do a lot more to sort out currency conversion issues.

It seems not. So far Impulse seem to have the best version of the game. But at least now there's no reason for it to not make its way to GOG.

I just checked the co.uk site, and it appears that 1 dollar = 1 pound. That's crazy!
