DukeNukemForever: Wow, a few days ago I read a review about Europa Universalis 3, it sounds really interesting. But the Complete set here includes not all packages, there is another add-on called "Heir to the Throne" (also on sale). Also wikipedia says there are rumours about another add-on. Maybe I should wait for an updated packages and another promo.

The Europa Universalis 3 version is called "Complete" because there wasn't supposed to be another expansion. Paradox only decided to make one because of fan requests and because they finally found a way to add something they had wanted to include from the start (dynasties).
You don't really need the Heir to the Throne expansion, the game is already very good without it (if you like the genre) .
There is almost no chance of another expansion, considering they'll probably start work on EU 4 soon.

Ah, thanks. Good to know. That's the crux with calling something complete, time will and can change it ;-) I will view some videos on youtube (found a Let's play of it) and read some reviews, but I hate normally this feeling that I could miss something. Likely I will wait for the ultimate bundle ;-)

bansama: Huge Paradox sale on GamersGate, all titles 50% off except the most recent release I think.
Perfect time for me to pick up all the Eleven Legacy add ons anyhow =)

Same. This was such a pleasant surprise. I was like "ok fine I'm going to just get a few games on GG", and all of a sudden, the number of games on offer explode.
I'm interested in getting one of the HoI games. Is AoD a better purchase over HoI3?
Impulse jumped on the bandwagon too ( Paradox titles 50% off )
Steam: 50% off All Paradox Titles :P
This is boring!

It depends what you like.
HoI 3 is a more complex, more open game, but it's also more buggy. Paradox has fixed most of the bugs, but frankly if you want the best experience with it, you'd probably be better off waiting for the other expansion and a bundle.
Arsenal of Democracy is basically an extensive mod for HoI 2. It's much more faithful to history compared to HoI 3's openness that causes the AI to do some wacky things (Mexico trying to invade Germany, ...).
Out of all of them, I personally prefer HoI 2 with both expansions and some of the free mods that are just as good as AoD (like C.O.R.E.).
Hey guys don't miss the new one on Steam: MotorM4X - best off road racing so far.
This game is not new, they just had deal with really very stupid publisher and now they are publishing it themselves.
It's damn cheap and with 30% discount right now! I would buy it just because great soundtrack.

If you can swing the extra $10, I definitely recommend Heir to the Throne for EU3. Really beefs up the game a lot.
And with Steam doing 50% off Pdox titles, you can also grab Lead & Gold for $7.49.
