acare84: Sol Survivor is not a tower defense game. Yes, mp and co-op is maybe fun but you need to control annoying laser too, so your towers are not doing so much damage to your enemies you are doing with your mouse button always and it is annoying for me. So DG is so much better TD game than Sol Survivor.

Ok now I disagree. It's a tower defense game, you plant towers along paths/roads enemies take to keep them from getting to your colony. You got multiple turrets to place. I played the game a good 25 hours now, in all reality the satellite support is a minor thing. 2 turrets do triple the damage of the orbital laser support. Also not all commanders got a laser, some have missiles and others drones. There are a few commanders that focus on support but that's a juggling game to get your defenses and orbital use balanced. Just try the game first and you will see it's actually well done.

Dark Fall Lost Souls ? Hell yeah. lackoo and dragonmaster, thanks, you guys just made my day.
Haha, I was hoping that skipping out on the Fallout 3 sale the first week would reward me with a sale on the GOTY edition in the final week, but it seems I was wrong.
Does anyone know what the DRM is on Bloodlines and / or if it works okay on Win7 64bit?

Vampire?
Disc-check only, if I remember correctly. Oh, and yea, it worked for me when I tried it several months ago (Win 7 x64).

I was hoping for exact same thing. Turns out the publisher and dev is greedy enough to keep it above $50 for now even a year after release of last DLC. Bethesda sucked since Oblivion :(

VTM: Bloodlines, yeah. I doubt the D2D version has a disc check though. If it does then that's probably the dumbest DRM scheme since Ubisoft. :D. Still, it's nice to know it works at least. Thanks.

Be sure to check first Planet Vampire, just to be 100% sure. I played the game, but didn't get pass the tutorial (had to format my PC, and never installed it again). Also, see if you can find some resolution fixes and other stuff to make the game even better. :)

lackoo1111: how about this ?

I've got them. If you like hardcore RTS + 4X in space, get it. One of the best indie games, imo.

That's one of my favorite games from last year. There's a demo, if you want to try it.

I'll second that recommendation...AI War is the sweetness.
Also, one of the Gamersgate games worth looking in to if you're a strategy fan is Achtung Panzer : Kharkov 1943. At its normal $20 price tag, it's a great deal. For $10? Steal. The UI is a bit clunky, but the game itself is terrific.

Agreed. Best wargame of this type since Combat Mission: Afrika Korps.
There's another game in the same sale from the same developer (Graviteam), considered by many the best tank sim since Panzer Elite: "Steel Fury - Kharkov 1942". I just had to get it.
Anyone knows if AI War has any DRM or not?
