DiRT 1 is a really system hungry game. Optimization is really bad, GRID and DiRT 2 also using the same graphics engine but they are running so much better than DiRT.

Hmm. Things to think about. Thanks all.
I assumed dirt1 was the older game so it'd be less system hungry. According to you gamers my lappy meets the minimum reqs for both grid, dirt2 and fuel.. but only just. It played bioshock and mirror's edge ok, but i think bioshock was getting to it's limit.
Haven't played an f1 game in years, so i wonder if i should go for toca for it's open wheel cars... and it looks like Grand Prix Legends too! Fuel was so tempting though...
All of them have demos. GRID, TOCA 3, FUEL, DIRT 1 and DIRT 2 you can try their demos too. :)

soulgrindr: If your laptop barely meets the specs, avoid Dirt 1. It's too demanding.
Toca 3 is a great game (IMO better than the rest) and actually (if you were wondering) plays fine with the keyboard if you don't have a wheel/joypad.
It's open wheel cars racing is demanding, don't think it's going to be easy.
If you want something easier, I suggest New Star GP, yes it plays like Super Cars on steroids, but it is great.

Rogue Warrior is now $19.99 on Steam. If you didn't buy it full price (I did on console), there's no excuse now!

I'll think about it if it ever hits the $5 to $10 price bracket.

Navagon: LOL

Shut up, it wasn't bad like everyone said. It was merely half a notch above pure dogshit. For Rebellion that is an achievement.

A sound purchase then. :P

I'm actually considering getting this on PC. THERE ARE ACHIEVEMENTS FFS

And it would take less than an hour to get them all.

Loving those responses navagon, I agree. I saw videos of this game, it's horrid. I'd get it for free or not at all, $5 could go to a meal that last longer than the good gameplay in Rogue Warrior. By the way this is from Rebellion too? Wow, those guys abandoned AVP and have another crappy game out there. They need to be shut down.

Forget Rogue Warrior, get Rogue Trooper! It's Gears of War with smurfs. You can't go wrong with that.

Rebellion really need to get their act together. They've got some talent there, sure (AvP was handled by different people to Rogue Warrior). But clearly there are a lot of people there that aren't up to scratch.
Steam has the whole Guild Wars Trilogy for only 17 Euro! An awesome deal, when I consider I gave 30 euro for the basic game back when it was new :) Also, the Trilogy as a whole is one of the hugest games I ever saw, with a basically neverending replay value. Highly recommended :)
Also for those who don't know the game style, it is more close to Diablo 2 than typical MMOs - you meet other players only in towns, while the world itself is always private for you and your party.
