amok: hmm. Dead Island goty £7.50 and Rage £6.50, might be time to pick up both. Will think about it a few hours. Still wondering if they maybe both will be 75% off during Christmas, but then I might be broke...
Rage gameplay is pretty fun for the old school shooting and story serviable but completely neglectable as you cannot choose NOT to take it and there are no second thoughts or any consequences about killing somebody, no changes since Doom 1 here.

Sure, Rage has the nicest painted corridors to date and can get pretty atmospheric most of the times. Missions are totally linear, though. This Review pretty much sums it up.
I'd say Rage is ok for $5, compared that you can get Fallout 3 GOTY for $10, which is the much better game, IMHO.

Having said that I am playing the Anarchy Ed. right now and I am totally hooked to the carefree entertainment it provides.

orcishgamer: Wait, what? Do I need to be logged into the client to peruse the sales or will the website work?
avatar
Foxhack: The website works. Actually browsing the site doesn't work in the client for me. :p
Gotta say, it's a bit of an ass deal. I guess if you literally don't have those very old games, 10 bucks is... well, not even as good of a deal as Amazon.com, which will get you usually 2 games plus expac for 10 bucks...

Don't even get me started on the buy one, get one free choices.

EDIT: And why do I get the feeling I'm absolutely the only person here who liked Lollipop Chainsaw...

I would love to play Lollipop Chainsaw, watched some gameplay videos of it and enjoyed every bit of it. I just don't have $20 to spend on it right now. :(

I don't own a 360 / PS3 so... I have no opinion on the game. :(

This is an issue with Origin/EA and their refusal to do deep discount sales. I find it odd that they seem absolutely dig-in-their-heels stubborn about offering good discounts on Origin.

On a related, but side, note: When I got the Origin $20 off code a short while ago for completing their survey, they seriously restricted the titles you could apply it to. I owned almost all the games I was interested in using the code on, so ended up grabbing Dead Space (a game I'm really not that interested in, but what the hell it ended up being free). Regular price of that game on Origin is 20 bucks, so I got the game for free, which is cool. And I don't want to seem like I'm complaining about it, but Dead Space games appear in sales all over the place for 5 bucks on a regular basis. I don't get why EA doesn't give their games a better discount on Origin and drive more traffic to/through the client.

Condemned finally on Steam! Good stuff. Sadly can't afford to buy it right now and can't play it until January anyway. I hope it repeats in the Christmas sales.
I just heard about this sale tonight. I bought Zombie shooter 2 for $2.49!

I can second that. After a bad first impression I stuck so long with that game until I completed it on Nightmare. The coop isn't half bad either.
did expect that to be a daily:
Yesterday - a different (in the Broken Sword -sense kind of) adventure game by Pendulo -68%/ $10
and what adventure fan I would be if i did not post about this:

Massive price mistake for The Walking Dead over at GamersGate. It's $7.63 with IGN discount ($8.98 without). If you want it, get it now. The price will go back to normal eventually.

I think this is a GamersGate error but Walking Dead is selling for $8.98 or $7.63 who have the IGN promo code.
