I picked up that pack when they first did the deal. It's not a bad pack, but I only really play Blush. Raptor Safari isn't too bad either, but I didn't really enjoy the other two. Still, not a bad purchase if the actual discount is still the same.

I tried several times. I also tried with the Men of War games, nothing.
I finally made it work for the Men of War games through the USA site.

What is the DRM of ArmA series on D2D? I think it is Securom DRM but is there a revoke tool too? Or must I contact D2D if I run out of activations?

I think Bohemia Interactive released patches for both those games with removed DRM, also Securom is not mentioned in games' description (just Gamespy in case of Arma II). CD key is just for multiplayer.

I never understood this "removal". Does this mean you can install the game without ever activating the game?

If the activation is required as a part of the install process then no, it won't remove it. But if it's simply before you first play it then you should be able to first patch it out.

And it is a truly excellent game. I played the demo for roughly seven minutes before I went "Dang. I must buy this."

I guess I could give Men of War a spin, in the hope it's the kind of RTS I might actually enjoy...

So, how does Direct2drive work? Same as GOG except with DRM included on some games and regional restrictions on other games, but other than that, it's the same? Download anytime you want, keep an installer on your hard drive (which i assume I can back up on a dvd?) Any tricky shenanigans I should be aware of?
