Hey guys,

The title says it all. Some good examples of what I think are Dead Cells, Dungeon of the Endless, Enter the Gungeon or the upcoming Black Future 88 (cyberpunk roguelite with insane soundtrack, google it).

Do you know other games with good looking and detailed pixel art visuals ?

Have you tried Zombie Night Terror?

I admit, in terms of pixels, the words "good looking" might be pushing it, but I love this game.
Yeah, "good looking" is subjective due to the huge diversity of pixel art styles.

The few OP examples give you an idea of the PA style I'm looking for.

Thanks for your suggestion, I'll check it.

Those look nice, I think:
Kathy Rain
Not Tonight
The Aquatic Adventure of the Last Human
Slain: Back from Hell
Tangledeep
Lone Survivor: The Director's Cut
Graveyard Keeper
Thank you guys, that was the kind of stuff I wanted!
Not a fan of pixel art myself, but Owlboy has had a lot of praise for its visuals.
I find the pixel art in "Into The Breach" to be pleasant and not just wannabe retro.

Unavowed looks super nice quite often.
Any list that doesn't include at least one of Wayforward's games is incomplete. Here is what's available on GOG:

Shantae: Risky's Revenge - Director's Cut
Shantae and the Pirate's Curse
The Mummy Demastered

I found that Moonlighter has nice and well animated pixel art.
Hope this is the kind of things you're looking for :)

Edit : Maybe less what you're looking for, but I found the ones of Stardew Valley to be cute, warm/friendly, and well done.

I was about to mention this.

And FTL should be mentionned too, of course.

Also I happen to love the art on the Cultist Simulator cards, if this counts.
Here are my recs!

Desktop Dungeons Enhanced Edition
Pier Solar and the Great Architects
Halfway

Hope you find something extra that you would wish to play, together with all the others above!
More akin to Cave Story, Momodora is a very pretty game. Also very fun. Not very long, but a hard platformer with secrets n such. I enjoyed it a lot.

For a complete different genre of game and pixel art style, there is UnderRail.
Turn-based isometric tactical RPG. Super good combat. Also pretty hard. Huge expansion coming some time in the next year. Also gorgeous. Here is some footage of the expansion.

And then there are games that have yet to be released.

Eitr is right up my alley in regards to looks.
Polished, stylish, minimal. Kind of reminds me of Sword and Sorcery.

Children of Morta is a game that I was interested in, but my interest has waned from lack of information and updates. Still looks good though. Kind of rough around the edges.

I've written more than I thought. I'll just leave info for these games.
