fortune_p_dawg: damn the whole catalogue gonna be on this list soon.

theyll have to rename the site "bog" for "bad old games" lol

Gersen: Honestly if you only keep the games that are actually no longer updated or missing a critical feature then the list is only be fraction of it's current size. Most of the entries on it are because of a missing Linux port or a missing optional feature / goodie available that may or may not be available on another shop.

Personally I make a difference between a game being released and no longer supported on Gog by its developer and one simply missing a totally optional goodie/ ost / etc... (as long as it never was promised in the first place)
yeah i agree. particularly in the case of missing soundtracks and artbooks, etc.
Bastion added, missing Gel Cannister.
Kindred Spirits on the Roof added, missing the Full Chorus upgrade.

I disagree, mainly because I am in the position that I want the soundtracks for several games I own. Considering those are not sold here I would need to rebuy the game on Steam and then buy the dlc. I doubt it can be argued that's not treating me poorly. :P

People shouldn't be punished for buying on their preferred platform.

We do check whether certain missing features/DLC/etc. are readily available elsewhere, most prominently (of course) Steam, but also other commonly used digital stores. If not, or if they are only available as/with physical copies, they don't go on the list.
It's really about ... GOG customers being treated like 2nd class. ;p

i getcha, i completely respect why you feel that way. and honestly i do agree with you for the most part.

but... in my mind, i guess, some things are a battle that just arent worth fighting, particularly when fighting the battle itself could come at a cost to the side one is on. that's why personally, for me, i draw the line in the sand at keeping game updates in parity with their steam counterparts.

fyi, i meant no disrespect up there in my previous post.

Oh that's fine. Opinions differ of course. If people only care about a certain category, that's why the categories are there right? ;)

Sure, it's bad. That is, if the soundtrack can only be obtained on Steam and not some other store like Bandcamp.

Anyway, now that we had the 200 games milestone, let me make some contributions to reach 300. Hotline Miami 2 is also missing its soundtrack.
The first Little Big Adventure is available on Steam as a bundle with two versions; the mobile port and the original DOS version for the same price as the GOG one, which only has the DOS version.

Finally, I see that Advent Rising is listed as "unconfirmed" in the sheet, regarding the soundtrack. Truth be told, the soundtrack didn't launch on May 15 2010. Instead, it was added years later, March 29 2018, to be precise:

Gengar78: Crimsonland is already on here, but maybe also add that it also doesn't have online leaderboards here? It made some sense when it released since Galaxy wasn't a thing, but now Neon Chrome released with leaderboards and more. So maybe 10tons should give Crimsonland the same treatment on GOG.

Who knows. It might be another "too much effort" situation.

SCPM: To be fair, if CDPR can't be arsed to go back and implement achievements in Witcher 2, you can't expect GOG to pressure other devs to implement Galaxy achievements for their games.
CDPR even does not fix the missing rebind option to go faster by boat in Witcher 3. It's a crucial issue for me and I told them two times. The only reply I got was that they aren't planning any updates at the moment.

Gengar78: Crimsonland is also missing Mac and Linux builds. They have been on Steam for 4 years now.
You are confusing Crimsonland with some other game. Mac and Linux builds have been available here for years.

Your right.

Dang.
Kindred Spirits on the Roof removed because Full Chorus was released on GOG basically right after it was added to the list. If only that worked every time.

fair point.
high rated
so i went through that list and reached out to the devs of ronin and mark of the ninja (on the steam forums).

im not actually expecting a response from either, but it's shit like this is why i will always be consumer first, regardless of how small a development studio is.

ugh. how incredibly cheesy.

edit: and vlambeer on twitter (i pretty much bug them once a year about nuclear throne)

also, i believe Moonlighter is missing the Winter Holiday Update which came out december 21.

the last update we received here was on october 15 (v 1.8.10.1) so it should probably be added to the list as well.

i reached out to the dev on steam, hopefully they respond soon.
