MarkoH01: [The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav] can get removed from the list. Chains of Satinav has now received all available languages (English/German audio - multiple subtitles) along with Galaxy achievements and ingame achievements.

vv221: Only for Galaxy users. The DRM-free installer is still from early 2014.
For now ... but it is pretty certain that the offline installers will be created automatically within the next days. If this should not be the case I will remind GOG friendly.

The Galaxy builds started getting updates 4 days ago already, and still nothing on the front of DRM-free installers. If GOG taught me one thing, it’s to only believe in what I can download right now, not in promises.

I don't trust anybody - I am just stating facts. IF the automatic creation works as intended the update WILL be created within a few days. This does not mean that this will also happen if it doe not work. Like I said, I will inform GOG and I am pretty optimistic that this will be fixed quite fast.

Me neither, i stop trusted GOG, GOG is just lying / incompetent atm.

Just for example : the automated creation process for creating offline installer is bugged (what a surprise !)
I have in my library : Disco Elysium - The Final Cut (with all extras)
Each times the game receives an update :soundtrack & artbooklet is re-added to the DLC section, those are just the extras which appears in the extras section too. I need to notify the support each time : i'm just starting to be tired to this situation ; they don't learn from their mistakes.

It's the 3rd times it occurs since i purchased the game.

For me the client ruined the web-users library, period. We barely have changelogs too...and i can continue .... but i stop here : GOG simply don't respect their promises.

I don't think they are lying but I do agree that they are pretty incompetent. Given the many times they made mistakes it is hard to deny this. However I also don't think that the client (which is far from being perfect and still pretty buggy) itself has runined offline installers ...keep in mind that without the client we would have to wait even longer for all updates because most devs are using the Galaxy backend now to upload the newest build which is usually used to autocreate the offline installer. Yes, it breaks often but without it devs would always have to send their files to GOG and GOG would manually have to give them the go ... this would take much longer. The problem with the changelogs is also pretty old and in most cases the reason for missing changelogs is that devs don't provide them. Years ago I asked GOG and they said that they only post what the dev is providing. Does not change the fact that GOG should update their own changes which they also don't do ... Then again, this is the wrong thread to discuss this so I wil stop here as well :)

Right i'm a bit off-topic : but stil if devs use the client to update their games (and some games stay outdated for a very long time -> : in some case we are just second class citizens)

Example : Edge Of Eternity : stilt stuck at Community Update #3 on GOG but on Steam : New Beginning Update (the game was updated almost one year and half ...on Steam)
https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/269190?updates=true

i notified the support this summer (they promised they will try to reach the devs) : no news so far.... the website of the game is no more secure enough... and i have an "inferior version" of the game with bugs which have been fixed in the Steam version and i don't speak of the new content added).

And why they provide a changelog on Steam but not on GOG (most of the times) ... sorry it's just a text file : and this beyond my understanding.

A buggy client : yes (i would use it if wasn't so buggy) and buggy offline installers sometimes ( too many times if you ask me.)

And yes they are incompetent most of the times, if i said they are lying, it's just after so many reports i did ; i just really tired they don't learn from their mistakes and it's close to a lie when they promote the offline installers & the client when you know the state of the web-users library atm. I'm doing part of their job with those many reports without mentioning when i have to contact myself the devs or publisher .Anyway most of the time i'm ignored by those : pretty sure if i was using a steam version : that would be different.

But i'm really off-topic now... sorry.

I absolutely do agree but Galaxy is not the problem, the devs are ... or a broken auto create system from time to time.

I tried exactly the same (and got the same replies) and I bothered the devs since years in several ways, It seems as if the devs don't even post on their discord anymore and it is pretty safe to say that we will never get the missing updates including the new content. I am completely with you here: this is 100% second class treatment.

I can just guess here. It is pretty obvious that many devs have trouble to understand how GOG is working and how they should deliver the files to GOG. Proof of this is that there are still some devs who think that they need to upload the files to GOG so that GOG can approve them. Others on the other hand are perfectly capable of understanding GOG, their updates are fast and they even provide changelogs posted in the forum ... i.e. Fabrice aka COWCAT Games. Problem is that every dev knows how Steam and Steamworks is working but GOG is working a bit different . Some devs even have problems to figure out how to update GOG at all (yes, it sounds strange but it is the truth). So in the end I think that they don't care enough to try to figure out where they are supposed to to post a changelog (even though it is clearly stated in the GOG devdocs) ... again - it's just a guess.

We do agree here as well regarding Galaxy AND the offline installers. Problem is missing QA because of wrong prioritizing and resource mismanagement (imo) ... which brings us back to "incompetent".

I understand what you mean. It is the promise that Galaxy is supposed to be optional and that you are supposed to have offline installers updated as well ... with maximum a bit of delay ... and since they don't keep that promise it feels like a lie. Regarding the missing updates I feel you as well - in most cases it's the devs fault though and GOG - even though it is written in their contracts - does not have the market share to force them to update their game. So they ask nicely and if they get ignored ... just like we were ... they simply give up. If it were up to me I would kick out all devs who don't update GOG. I think we still have enough good devs that would treat GOG as well as Steam. GOG however would never do this.
