Sacrifice -- I can get it to run in widescreen, but text and dialog videos are too small to see.
Sanitarium -- there doesn't appear to be any way to run. I can't stand waiting for the protagonist to saunter from one screen to the next.

I think at one point I owned 3 copies of Dawn of War: Dark Crusade. I think I bought the game by itself, and then later an anthology containing everything up to Dark Crusade, and then finally (and this was a horrible decision) an anthology of everything up to Soulstorm (very meh game)

At least it's an excellent enough game, but I never had any need for the other copies.

Shadow Man is one of my favorite games. First I bought it on N64, then I bought the German version for PC, then the uncut American version, after that I bought it here on Gog, and later on I bought the remastered version. That makes 5 purchases. I also had a pirated version, but can´t remember the reason for that.

Not just twice, but I have five copies of Morrowind. Ubisoft GOTY edition for PC, base game on original Xbox, Elder Scrolls anthology boxset, a copy on GOG, and I bought it on Xbox One at some point too.

I also have three copies of both Baldur's Gate games. A old boxset with all the games and expansions, copies on Steam/GOG connect, and on Switch.

My forum title probably makes this no surprise, but I've bought Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines a few times for giveaways too. That reminds me that I should make another giveaway for it soon.. :)

I bought Alpha Protocol on PC (physical) and PS3 as I just had a blast to play it and knew it would be tough for it to get a sequel since many overlooked it, Then grabbed a Digital copy before it got de listed.

If I own multiple copies of any game it's pretty much guaranteed to be because I got the extra ones for free.

I originally got Planescape: Torment EE on Steam. However, I got the rest of the IE games on GOG, so I rebought this one on this store in order to have them all in one place.

I did the same with the original Fallout games. I don't care about Tactics in the slightest, but I still rebought it for completionism's sake, and I do not regret it.

I own all 3 the Witcher games both here and on Steam. Thoufgh in case of the Witcher 2, I first bought it on Steam, then used an activation code to get it on GOG. I also own 2 on physical media. I believe I also have 1 and 3 on disc somewhere.

I own Stronghold and Stronghold Crusader both here and on Steam.

I might rebuy Fallout New Vegas and the the Elder Scrolls games at one point.

There are several old games I have on CD or floppy that I rebought on GOG for DRM free convenience.
Some that spring to mind are X-Wing and TIE Fighter, though I’m sure there are plenty more.

Day of the Tentacle, Hitman GO, Lara Croft GO and the Broken Sword series, I have on GOG, Android and iOS. Probably a couple more games I forget.

Ray-Man Origins, some LEGO games and Aragami on GOG and Xbox.

Minecraft on Windows, Android, iOS and Xbox.


I recently bought an Xbox Series X and I’m finding a renewed enjoyment in gaming on that.
I think Xbox is going to be my preferred platform for the foreseeable future.
GOG will then probably mostly be for getting DRM free versions of old games brought back to life, and a select few new games I find so good I’d like a DRM free version to play wherever and whenever I like.

I think I've bought Neverwinter Nights at least three times for myself.

* First the retail version, but it was German language only, so I borrowed and used my friend's English language version instead.
(* Won my own digital English language version as a prize in GOG's NWN modding competition.)
* Reluctantly bought Beamdog's NWN EE on GOG eventually.
* Bought it another time on Steam because the GOG version was lacking in updates.

I also bought a couple of copies for friends and family members, with hopes of getting them into it, sadly without success.

I have to admit though, all of the above were bought at a discount; even the retail version was a cheap edition bought long after release. (At release my rig at the time could not run it.)

I also bought Planescape: Torment twice, first as retail copy, then on GOG when it was released here. Amd I might have done it with some other games, too, so that I could get rid of the DVD cases in my cupboard and still keep the games, supported on modern OS.

Top of the line to me must be Baldurs Gate

I bought a map containing the first game complete with DLC later on. Only to buy the 'remastered' version on steam, while adding at a later point game 1 and 2 remastered on GoG (mainly due to the discounted price) + that latest DLC sword tale or something?.

Furthermore, I bought all earlier total war games on Steam again. Since i own the physical copies too. Total War Shogun to Medieval and I believe Empire.

Control is another game i own on both Epic and Steam.

I guess this sums it up quite nicely, I had some extra purchase going on with CIV 6, but that was only a couple of dollars

Almost passed on buying the remastered version of KOA since i knew beforehand i was already done with the game. My current hours in the new version prove my point

Mirror's Edge, Fallout: New Vegas, Oblivion, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Originally bought these on the PS3 before I had a PC that was capable of playing games. I later purchased them on GOG when they were on sale. Being 1st-person-perspective games, I preferred using a keyboard-and-mouse. For Fallout: New Vegas, I got to play DLC didn't buy on the PS3 version. Unfortunately for Mirror's Edge, the GOG version doesn't have any of the DLC, including a map that exclusive for the PS3.

Dragon Age: Origins

Another game I owned for the PS3. While I enjoyed the game, I eventually quit playing because the game started having severe performance issues the more I played it. I bought again on GOG, and I like the controls/interface more than than it's console counterpart. The ability to mod and having DLC that I did not buy on the console was a plus as well. It still suffered performance issues late game, but lowering the graphics setting helped.

Sega Genesis Collection

I enjoyed my share of Genesis games while visiting other people's homes, but never actually owned the console myself. I got the PS2 version It's a great compilation of the games that enjoyed in the past as well as titles that missed. I later bought Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection (for PS3), which features the same games along with a few extras, and trophies.

Vakyria Chronicles.

I have the original on the PS3 and got the remasterd version on the PS4. Unfortunately, the the only PC option is Steam.

I've bought 7 copies of Hollow Knight. 1 on Switch, 1 on PS4, 1 on Steam, and 4 on GOG for gifts and obviously for my personal use.

I own about 65 games here i had already bought on Steam because there wasn't a GOG version available when I got them.

Quake III Arena big box pretty much at release, and some years later Quake III: Gold (physical edition), just for Team Arena. Only, at this time the official servers were already empty. Played Quake Zero instead.

I've got quite a few games on multiple platforms. Most of them are from bundles, but there are games I've deliberately gone out of my way to purchase. A few that come to mind:
