Great new wish list app. But I believe it has flaws which skew the results.
- Because the front page shows only the last items added and the top 10, the top 10 have a huge advantage towards getting more votes. It is like having those on the ballot, and having everything else as write-ins. I would guess that the current chasm between number ten and eleven is hundreds of votes. I don't believe this accurately reflects people's favorite games, but instead is amplified by the design of the page.
I would recommend adding a button that allows the top ten to continue downward as a list sorted by votes. Maybe even make it as simple as a down arrow that shows the next ten. That would help a lot. Allowing the main list to be sorted by something other than last thing added would help a lot as well.
Great app from a visual and functional standpoint, but from a fair voting standpoint I think it's broken.

Harley.

Cook66: I never played System Shock 2. ;)

That was the first game to creep me out. I could hear the creeping death on the floor above me as my headphones blocked out all but my immersion in that game. I totally love it being #1 on the list.
I would REALLY love to see the Total Annihilation series available. Mine have become so abused, even having several copies of both TA & TA:Kingdoms - I would prefer a fresh download over a disk resurfacing.
I suppose there would be too many licensing issues (it is EA after all) but I would love to see The Need For Speed 1 SE
I used to own it but have since lost everything. Watching videos of it on youtube only reminds me of how fun it was. So much better than pretty much anything that came after it in the series.

MysterD: Yeah, but GOG would be nice to get Deus Ex DRM-free, without it forcing Steam on you.

xyzzy: You can play DX:GOTY on Gametap for free.

I already own both DX:GOTY and DX: IW on disc, actually.
Hi To all.
I noticed that the wish list contained a lot of DOS games, I might be wrong but isn't the idea of GOG to get games that were written for earlier versions of Windows and DirectX running in Vista and XP.
All old DOS games already have programs like DOS box to run them and this works well even fo r64 Bit Vista.
Should the team not concentrate on games like HOMM IV which just downright refuse to run in Vista.

although many older games do work without much problem.
there is no place to buy them.
Please add
Metal Gear Solid 1&2 for the pc, its almost impossible to find a good copy that doesnt cost over $50
It's official: Crusader: No Remorse and No Regret are the most requested games of all time. Please put them on GOG! :D
How about the FM-Towns version of Zak McKraken?

Hi
Yes true, but then all you need for that is a purchasing outlet, I thought GOG was dedicated to getting older Windows games to run via modification as ther is currently no tools to do this.
But OK I can see that too. :)
I'm with the first poster:
- Baldur's Gate series
- Icewind Dale series
- Planescape Torment
Thanks.

How can so few people have voted for Final Fantasy VII. It's a travesty!
