Guys, we occasionally curse a little too, as anyone does, but this thread takes things a bit too far. It’s one thing to use a swear word in conversation, where relevant, and another to just do it for the sake of cursing.

I’ve changed the title of the thread to something more forum-appropriate.

We hope no more threads like this will appear but if they will do we will delete them. If someone will be very persistent in creating these kinds of thread titles, we will consider banning this person. Nevertheless, this is the last thing we would like to do, as we love that GOG.com’s forum is the place where intrusive moderation is not needed, as you guys are well-mannered people that keep the conversations civil no matter how heated things get.

You totally missed the point of this thread and you are living in a fantasy land if you think this is still the "well-mannered" place it used to be. This and the other similar thread have been up for days in an attempt to draw your attention to the fact that you are failing your community by not taking a more proactive role here. "Intrusive" moderation is needed. There are people behaving in ways that are criminal in some countries (death and other violent threats) and it takes a figurative bomb going off in the forums before you will act on it. Now you respond to the thread title as if you are scolding a toddler? You threaten to ban people for thread titles, but you won't or can't act on death threats? What is wrong with you that you cannot see how out of touch with your own community you have become?

Thank you for your consideration of banning the person that created a thread out of frustration due to the inaction from GOG regarding the serious abuse and harassment on the forum as well as Chat.

Meanwhile the individual that has been wreaking havoc on the forum for over almost a month now with filth like this has been allowed to operate without any consequences other then half measures like deleting a couple of his two dozen alts.

yeah. Why should I give my money to a site that doesn't even make an effort for anything but their store anymore. This forum used to be a symbol of pride, a shining core feature.
