The point is the "support dudes" are not actually doing anything to deal with harassment and scamming problems. Rather than proactively monitoring for problems, they wait until someone finally gets fed up and posts a thread like this, and even then it can take a day or more to address the problem. Hell, the "tits n' ass" thread is still up and has not had its title altered, despite the fact that it violates their own policies, though it did finally get their attention enough for them to ban one of the worst offenders on the harassment front. Posting a thread with an offensive title has now proven to be one of the only ways to get GOG to take any significant action.

direct linking doesn't work. you need to actually copy-and-paste the url yourself.

If OP is trying to get the mods to notice something then your doing it wrong. Send support an email or something they respond pretty fast through that.

He wants them to do something that they're just not going to do. The only thing that would possibly come of this is that someone will change the thread subject.

Even if they do something and ban an account, it's all to easy to just get another account. It's pointless IMHO.

Nope, that don't work. The "tits n' ass" thread was put up to address a harasser and scammer that had been plaguing the forums for months, despite multiple reports to support about his many accounts. He was finally dealt with after that thread was posted, though it probably won't be long before he comes back with more accounts, since GOG does absolutely nothing to protect the integrity of their "classy community" anymore.

Sure, they respond. Basically if you are harassed, bullied, threatened and stalked in chat, they suggest disabling the chat. There's no option for ignoring one user - one can only disable chat altogether or disable it with exception for friends. What's more important and worrying, GOG don't do anything about misbehaving asshat.

I don't know how this kind of thread would make GOG change their approach, but at least it breaks the routine... ;)

They banned the harassing account that was active at the time the T&A thread was posted. I'm sure he's already back with another.

Heh, didn't knew that and yet, ironically, they're helping him by changing the name of his scamming accounts (but to be fair, considering their lack of interest on the forum, they're unaware of that).
