Klumpen0815: This escalated quickly.
Someone mentions Putin and it's cold war all over again...

What would happen if someone mentioned Gandhi?
Outbreak of Naan-Violence.

Avogadro6: He is, but the West couldn't care less of what Erdogan does to his own country as long as he remains on "our side". The USA want Turkey in the EU and they need an ally against Russia in that area. And on top of that, now the EU needs him to contain the refugees flux, among other things. It's not really the best time to be anything but compliant with him.
The Russian-Turkish relationships were perfect prior to Erdogan, so what you are claiming is that US is happy to place and protect a dictator and bloody criminal so long he acts as their puppet, "their side". This sounds like Afghan war, Al Queda and "our" Bin Laden . But its one mistake after another, Erdogan is not "their" puppet, its already seen with "refugees", which he uses to blackmail money from the EU - previously letting ISIS cadets in other direction through Turkey border.

Lets talk about democracy, freedom, transparency, human rights, corruption index. Lets talk about drugs and terrorism.

Anything left of those principles or they suddenly disappear and reappear as needed? : /

vsr: Jerzy Dziewulski, the security advisor to former Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski, was photographed last week with Turchynov in Slavyansk. Dziewulski is a notorious counter-terrorism expert, having been trained in the US, Israel, France, and Germany, and he currently runs his own private ‘security’ organization. Despite Sikorski playing dumb about the presence of Polish mercenaries in Ukraine and saying he’d “report the fact to the country’s prosecution office”, Dziewulski’s photo with Turchynov proves that he is lying. In reality, Sikorski and Dziewulski represent Poland’s strategic and tactical interference in Ukraine’s civil conflict, and one can no longer be separated from the other.

A polish security advisor with leader of Bandera-worshipping party. It can't go crazier than this, can it?

Hilarious. Poor Erdogan isn't popular enough to hold the audience's attention for a substantial amount of posts in a thread basically dedicated to him, before it all goes to the same old shit - Russia vs. The West. I'll have myself a laugh and a cup of tea.

Seriously, most of the thread is OFF TOPIC.

blotunga: Since we already derailed the thread, I'm sure the russians are proud of their army invading half of Ukraine... not sure how the Ukrainians feel about it.
avatar
Breja: When Russia does it, It's called "liberating", not "invading". And if you don't like it, clearly you are an agent of the western powers.
If I may ask - how do you define 1999. bombing of Yugoslavia?
I recently won a game of Diplomacy as Russia. I did it by smoking Turkey. This is on topic yes?

But I always put Polonium in my tea. It's an ancient Polish tradition!

If Recep wouldn't have had his little hissy fit, practically nobody would have cared about the song/video either.
I henceforth call it the "Erdogan effect", a variation of the Streisand effect specifically for dictators.

So that's why it's called Polonium! It does explain some things.

Lin545: I hate Pussy Riot and I have the very reason to. Also Germany does (and suprisingly, their reaction is much more brutal compared to Russian event.)
You're seeing Pussy Riot protesters being thrown out of the Cologne cathedral. There was violence involved from the police and the catholic priests (!), no doubt; but none of the protesters were hurt; not a single one of them was arrested; and certainly none of them was put into 8 months of pre-trial confinement before being put on a propaganda trial that ended with putting them into labor camps for what they've done.

German people love Pussy Riot, and they even have the respect of the church. The girls were nominated for the coveted Martin Luther Award in 2012 ... but, of course, they failed to award it to them, which would have been a clearer statement from German church authorities.

Breja: Bravo GOG staff, bravo for the title change! Racism? That's ok. Russian propaganda? No problem. Saying that Hitler did nothing wrong? Fine. But "fuck Erdogan"? Now that's just going too far! We do have some standards here you know!
Yup. The "super hands off" forum mods are in the business of removing offensive content for all the wrong reasons available. They will close this thread eventually.

Starmaker: What Putin should have done is to settle the refugees in Russia. Seriously. Russia has a "demographic problem". It also has vast territories and a lack of trained professionals. The solution is obviously immigration, but normally, it takes an investment because trained professionals have a good life wherever they are and peacetime immigrants are mostly unskilled laborers. But not wartime refugees. Accepting them would have brought in zomg!free trained personnel for continuously understaffed everything, taken away Erdogan's source of influence in Europe, ingratiated Russia with the Turkish opposition, increased Russia's sphere of influence, and saved human lives.
Russia actually accepted Syrian refugees, but only thousands because they were Syrians. Most of Afghan, Nigeria ... travellers.... prefer to go to Germany, Swiss and Great Britain to "have women" and "f**ck Europe" however.

avatar
Starmaker: But noooo, instead the pedopriest-in-chief is going to whine about the GLOBAL GENOCIDE OF CHRISTIANS (!!!), as exemplified by ISIS in Syria and Teh Gheys in Russia.
You sound more and more like liberast. More evidence, less gop gop gop please.
Genocide of christians in Syria.
Who are "Teh Gheys"?

avatar
Starmaker: Hint: Check out the shoulderpads on the guy on the left in the linked picture. Case closed.
Hint: Check cloths and physical constitution of the three in the middle and compare them to the two around.
Hint 2: Check surprise expression on the guy to the right, who by cloths is aligned with the guy on the left.

The three don't belong there and came for selfies and PR. The two around are men of physical work, unlike good-eatin three (no offense), can easily be Donbass locals going militant in the face of Ukr nazi oppression.

Case closed?
