yogsloth: I dunno, you know, I vote flub and he appears like magic. Now adalia and I are on the same wagon? Is babark really Scum, or just another newbie who thinks you play by not playing?

unvote flubbucket

Anybody else want him, other than adalia?
@yogs - your vote on flubb seemed tied to the mod's disclosure that scum had 2 hours to chat prior to D1. Was there something specific about it?
avatar
HypersomniacLive: Anything about anyone else besides adaliabooks and me?
Nothing off the top of my head, and adalia wasn't making that many pings on D2. At least not for my scumdar. Will do a quick pass again and double check though.

avatar
cristigale: @JMich - besides Hyper, who do you find scummy?
Adalia, for reasons already mentioned. The yog/adalia double vote doesn't help me change my mind.
And since yogsloth also moved his vote of adalia, I will return my vote to him.

Vote adaliabooks
Nice. Maybe the Spectres can save this for us after all.
Don't feel quite so bad going out now.

Anyway...

Unvote flubbucket

Because he is indecipherable as ever.

I really do believe babark could be scum, his play fits for a newbie scum unsure how to behave.

Vote babark
There comes a knock at the door.

The mayor nods at Krypsyn to answer it. He leaves, and returns momentarily, the town postman walking behind him.

"There's a letter here for you, your honour," the postman says as he crosses to the mayor's desk. "Unaddressed, but it's got quite a sheaf of papers in it by the feel of it."

"Thank you," says the mayor as he takes the brown paper envelope.

He slits it open and pulls out the contents, several sheets of paper.

A moment goes by as he reads them, then he looks up.

"They seem to be the undertaker's report. It's got a lot of medical details that I don't understand, but there's one section I understand all too well. According to the undertaker, HijacK was our herbalist."

Undertaker Report

HijacK was Good Herbalist.

cristigale: There is one more thing I should do. I don't think it's a huge deal anymore, but it would be silly not to confirm for any town who may have a doubt. I'm not sure when it will come but you'll know it when you see it. This is the part I debated the most, to just do what you'll see soon ( I assume before the end of the day) and not claim or do both. I was afraid if I didn't claim, town would have a false sense of security as it would appear the coroner was still alive and may get more results. If we weren't two roles down, I think I would have kept my claim to myself. For better or worse, I thought it better that town have the information.

I presume this is what you meant?
And since no one else is here and I'm talking to myself...

Clearly agent had included a mechanic to make the coroner not need to claim, but as always seems to happen in games like this, scum manage to NK the coroner N1 or N2 and we're left with no info what so ever...

I almost wish I was scum this game, then it might have been my first win as scum...

Who knows - though (aside from cristigale and agent car ) ... It could be a spectre mechanic and not a coroner mechanic.

I.e. Maybe Hijack - had his spectre remained - could have requested an herbalist report. That would be interesting - we'd have no idea who was protecting whom, but we'd get a tell on who was saved.

@adaliabook - you post well. And while I like your line of "I almost wish I were scum" ... But my vote stays on you.

On subway so forget who said it - but I'd be willing to vote Babark and then figure out adaliabooks or yogs next.
At least with flips, we'll have an idea if we are on the right track. HijacK might have been a no-brainer given Christie's claim, but as we move along, such a reveal will be much more valuable.

But do we get flips? Or did we just get that one because cristi wasn't dead yet?

@cristi - Can you clarify? Is that something you can continue to do or was it a remnant of investigating HijacK while you were still alive?

I hope we now get flips, but from the way it's worded it seems like we got a report of everyone cristi investigated before she was killed. If it is really just a report my guess is flips will stay the same.
I did notice something else. When the mods revealed the Night 0 window, that implies there is no day chat. At least we've got that going for us...which is nice.

Flub falls into that "Unreadable" category for me, as always.

As time passes, the amount of regret I have for sparing that D1 lynch increases.
Preach it to the choir. I try to analyse Drealmer's failed wagon...
If he's town, my guess is there would be at least 2 scum on it (partially explaining it's failure).
Yet, if he's scum, I'd guess the rest of the scum stayed off.

So which is it? 2 or more? Or none?

I've tried to put combinations together, but too many possibilities.

(Watch it be 1 to make me look like an idiot after the game)

RWarehall: Preach it to the choir.
Oh well. It won't be the first time my "What happens if..." has gotten me in trouble.
We do have HijacK's wagon. Traditionally the 3-5 positions are considered the most likely scum spots, but we have 2 confirmed town there. There is also CSPVG/Yogs. Of course I'm not sure wagons on HijacK (or Drealmer for that matter) can be considered typical. Both players often ruffle a few feathers, although this game, HijacK seemed pretty tame.

Personally, I don't put much faith in this sort of strict wagon analysis (too much WIFOM as if you rely on it, scum knows which positions to avoid), but no one has tried to do much of one that I can see. I'm more inclined to look for poor reasoning for the votes, but Hijack's sporatic appearances made it easy for this wagon to form.
