Phewww, I don't have the time or patience to go through another game to create an example. I wasn't really looking for feedback on it either, I'm figuring out what works for me and presented it to others who might have interest. I'm looking forward to see how it progresses if I live through multiple days.

Notes:

#133 + #137 - a4plz - I do not think that this is a good idea, no.

If the Doctor/Herbalist were to be killed or decides that another player is higher priority (for whatever reason), what then? The Coroner would be known, and we'd be two power roles down.

For this game, I really do think that it would be best if PR's stay 'hidden' (for lack of a better term) for as long as possible.

#146 - a4plz - I still do not think that this is a good strategy. Our moderator will not - at least, I do not think that he will - be providing us with anymore information. As the game unfolds, of course, we'll get more information from things that may occur, but I don't think no lynching is the best way to get information at this juncture.

#170 - drealmer - On your last point: sure, we cant talk about it, but I don't really see what it will achieve. The role could be almost anything, so I don't know how we'd pin it down or how doing so would really give us helpful information. In fact, would it not benefit scum more to know what the role is and exactly how the role works?

#174 - drealmer - So, know what you most likely mean by 'harmless fun' is 'I'm doing this to provoke reactions and get more information from which I can generate reads.' but when you put it the former way, I find it a little scummy.

In General:

My vote on HijacK was initially nothing more than the usual RVS, but his general lack of contribution thus far (even I have posted a few times) doesn't really make me feel that my vote is in too bad of a place. He may just be busy with IRL issues, but I can only give so many people slack. Which leads me to my next point.

On babark: I don't think he's purposefully lurking. He/she is most likely busy dealing with IRL issues or perhaps just a little overwhelmed by participating in his/her first Forum Mafia game. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for now (thus lending his possible future replacement, if he doesn't show up, some leniency, too). I don't see myself voting babark any time soon.

Lastly, HSL reads a little differently to me this game. He seems more aggressive. Apart from that, I would also like to see trenton contributing a little more.

To me he's been seeming aggressive in his games quite a bit, but moreso in his scum games.

Hahah....just a general trend in this thread...been going on for 11 pages now, and getting a bit hard to follow. I do think I'm picking up the lingo now, though.

I'm not scum, no worries. Just the act of being reasonable in such a situation is very suspicious :D.

For example, Flub just gave some analysis about Drealmer, people have commented on No Lynch, people have commented on role claims.

There's not much to analyse player-wise at the moment since everybody is generically poop-talking each other and claiming their own innocence. I think I'm the only person who's suggested any particular strategy beyond today's vote.

That being said - I will admit the opening day is very hard to read for my first opening day. Text is so much flatter than life.
