Dessimu: What is Cyberpunk Red?
Catventurer: Table-Top RPG - dystopian science fiction. In the Cyberpunk universe, the United States experienced an economic collapse in the 1980s, the soviet union still exists, the middle east is a radioactive desert, and the two big global super powers are the European Common Market and Japan.
The table-top game takes place in fictional city of Night City, California.... and based on the map on the wikipedia page, Night City is located along the Monterey Bay and more specifically somewhere at/near Moss Landing.
But you didn't mention the most important part about the game, which is cyberware. Every part of your body can be cybered up, legs, hands, head, neck, torso, even genitals. You can be a killing machine if you want, or install pretty stuff to just look different or increase sex appeal, or have a bunch of stuff meant for espionage. Or be a Netrunner and hack into NET architectures, playing a separate RPG game inside of the main TTRPG game.
Just be careful not to cyber up too hard, or else you'll veer off into cyberpsychosis (when your Humanity stat becomes too low) and at this point you're no longer who you used to be to say the least, more than willing to kill others for fun.
Be careful of the corporations, they have waged four separate, different Corporate Wars against each other, the last one giving Night City its own radioactive zone as a nuclear bomb blew up Arasaka's headquarters. And if they want to own you, they will find a way.
Cyberpunk RED and 2020 are also the basis of the videogame Cyberpunk 2077.
