I have heard from him fairly recently (though not here). I think he's ok, although it took a few days before I heard back from him so I guess he's probably busy.

Well, if it comes down to that, we can have someone else host the next game besides Joe? And delay his game until he's properly back.

That doesn't solve the problem of a Joe-less game though.

No. When he disappeared just before a game and had to be replaced I sent him a message, but I never heard back. I thought perhaps he'd been banned, but who knows?

If we don't hear from GR soon I would be seriously concerned about his well being.

Most of things would be better than him being not well. If GOG banned him that hard why didn't he *create an alternative* account and post here that he is alive and well? I doubt that GOG has anything to do with it.

Well, he has such a history of ban circumvention it's possible that they did something drastic like threaten his game collection if he tried it again. It's also possible that he's among us and just not telling anyone of his true identity so he doesn't get found out. He did have a pretty distinctive posting style though, it wasn't usually very hard to figure out it was him.

TinyE was permanently banned from GOG with access to his GOG games catalog. He had no issues with PM'ing me though. There is nothing more drastic than that. Well technically GOG can ban even from PM chat, but for how long? Permanently with a threat to block all games? That would not stop me from speaking out, even less so GR (out of protest).

No, a normal ban does not remove access to your games, but the GOG ToS still reserves the the right for them to do so. It is entirely possible that GR was permabanned with an accompanying threat against his games given his history of ban evasion. This is pure speculation in this case, but I know GOG isn't above removing access to games in extreme circumstances.

I also tried to reach out to him a few times in the past with no results. I was just hoping that someone has a non-GOG way of getting to him. Here's hoping it's not something terribly serious.

Pretty sure TinyE's account isn't currently banned. I Saw in an old thread that someone being refered to as TinyE was currently called FloridaSucks and the same account was posting at the time.

I'm still unavailable until further notice - just dealing with a lot of stuff related to storm damage and don't want to commit to anything.
