I haven't slept much in the past week, and even less so in the last day+, if that hasn't been obvious by my sudden burst of lengthy contributions in the game thread.
This also means:
I have gotten to spend a lot of time refining a lot of my game setup (which I am currently calling "Lots of Blood at Oakwood Village" - for MATURE PLAYERS ONLY), and it is quickly approaching a stage where I think it would be good to have someone look at it and give me some feedback/start helping me refine it as perfectly as possible. Obviously there will be lots graphic content if killings happen in the game (I find that highly possible, hehe.)
I figure there are things that I am likely failing to consider or neglecting or whatever, and I want to figure those out, but, I also think I have it pretty tightly knit and well-thought out and that all the mechanics work pretty splendidly together. I am excited to get it moving forward into further stages soon! I will have to spend a bit more time typing my notes up before being able to send them off to anyone, but it won't be very long now.
SO I am posting a
NOTICE:
I will need someone relatively soon to whom I can send my detailed write-up on my setup once it is ready to be looked at.
As I said before, this would ideally be the person who would then go on to be my assistant moderator, as they will have a much deeper understanding of everything that way, but, it's not entirely necessary either, since it's not like I've received a bunch of positive feedback in the way of interest for it in the first place.
SO, if you are an experienced moderator with a curiosity to look it over, I would be very very glad to share it and receive your input. I also won't exclude the possibility of whomever helps me with it being able to play the game when I host it in the future, but, ultimately come game time, there will have to be an understanding told to the other players that this person has an advantage by having every single nuance of the game at their disposal for reference.
I have spent the most time working out mechanics (of the game overall and of roles and their functions/interactions if any), and I have quite a bit of flavor and I will work on more and more of that over the next several months to get it all spruced up and perrrty to appeal for a nice big 18-19 player game so all roles can be in play!!! However, regardless of that, I think it will still be great with 11+ players.
I also have quite a good amount of character info written up for different roles, vanilla and "power" (light, medium, and heavy power-roles are possibly in the game!) I have names and attributes (sometimes meaningless flavor, sometimes meaningful quality in the "attributes") of characters so far and I want to have a total of 25 refined+ready by game time.
So. Huh, huh? who wants to take it on????!!! If a bunch of people jump at once, don't worry, I won't necessarily make it "first come first serve." haha!
EDITs: some edits
