Actually, that isn't a bad argument and I'm going to use it too:

He was my second choice yesterday and, as I already announced yesterday, if he wasn't already the CL, he will be scum by now. He just is the perfect conversion candidate since no one will notice a change in behaviour - and since no one will expect the CL to go through with actually converting him after I predicted that that is what would happen.

The last point if of course pure WIFOM. CL does something nobody expects because everybody expects it therefore CL can't do it therefore it's the good thing to do and so on... but my point is, WIFOM, in the end, cancels itself out as argument since it can swing every way. So what remains is prudence and I stand with the fact that flubb is the best scum candidate in this group of players.

So, I am quite sure that flubb was either already scum yesterday (CL) or at least is scum today. What are your thoughts on flubb?

Concerning Hunter: while I do understand that he wanted to ensure town gets a flip, I do agree that the self vote was a bad move. It usually is. Townies should never self-vote. Especially the hammer vote is something that can be useful to scrutinize - which we can't do now, since the Hammerer is dead.

ahh, I'm also feeling bad about Hunter. He should have defended a bit better/ at all (don't know if it would've helped much, but going down kicking and screaming might have helped for analysis today), but I can understand that going on vacation makes this difficult/impossible.

As for voting right away. Can't say that I have a good suspect right now. And I'd be for a lot more discussion before reaching our first lynchee.
We stand now at 5 town vs 2 scum (or 6/1 if a potential alarmist got lucky) if all goes bad we reach another two mislynches today and it's game over tomorrow ending 2 town vs 3 scum if recruit goes through or mylo at 3/2 if not. So I think going on very cautiously is best.

Today for me Bookwyrm and flubbucket are most interesting for softclaiming reasons.

So what does this mean? Did CLs choice get more interesting by your play? But you learned nothing? Argh, I'm bad at this sleuthing stuff (And I mean very bad) but as pointed out above we might not have the time to wait to day 3 to lay the cards on the table (game might be lost by then).
Do you have information to help us not mislynch today or not? if so, then do tell. if not, then please explain what your plan yesterday was about. I understand that you might not want to. But if we get to lynch correctly at least once today, this will help us tremendously in that at least there might be a day 3, else there might not and your information (if any) goes to the grave with you.


So are you still sure about that player? What was that lynch me on day 3 play about yesterday? really just what lift surmised that you get better in later stages, or was there more in that remark? Can you help us not mislynch today?

How was he ensuring a flip? If you mean we might have ended the day with no lynch - that wasn't happening (unless someone unvoted, of course). I didn't get the vote but you can just pretend I did, since I would have for sure. I was waiting for Hunter to make a stand, maybe claim and see how that would have affected our the conversation and the people who were or weren't on the wagon, but my intention was to seal the lynch before going to bed that night barring something exceptional happening. For all intents and purposes you can consider me the Hammer.

This may or may not be so (either part), yet I'm not sure where your certainty about him being cult today comes from. Sure, if he was the CL he still is, but how can you be so sure he's been converted if he was Town? There are a few other alternatives that were just as good targets for various reasons. WIFOM is quite a bitch.

Rereading his Day One stuff I'm struck by his seemingly tenacious will to make something real....The role calls, "firm contributions", none bolded votes, and such. And while I can applaud these as valuable for stimulating Day One conversation I'm having to keep telling myself there is only one bad guy at the time of these posts... not a scum team.

I will say my claims of talent are excreted mostly from my colorectal area and should not be taken as factual. The shine is more of a polished turd rather than any actual talent. Sadly though my value as a recruit was also a bit of vanity.....whatever. I'll get there, or get lynched.
