So, main thing on the table is P1na. I think at this point there is no other option but to finish the lynch, town or scum we need that flip. I really can't see another wagon forming before the deadline tomorrow either.

How did anyone think that was not a joke? How did anyone take that seriously enough to place a vote?

Flub basically did the same thing (except he hinted at being a Serial Killer), and did anyone other than drealmer (who seems overly preoccupied with Serial Killers) take that seriously? No, because we all know flub has not just claimed SK! Because it's flub, and it's a joke!

Right now I'd much rather lynch drealmer as he's ringing all kinds of alarm bells. Leonard's vote swapping around the massive elephant in the room of P1na's wagon is also a consideration.
But really you've left little choice, it's P1na or nothing. And while I don't generally have a problem with any lynch (you know me, Kill Kill, Kill them all!) I really don't like the precedent we're setting for lynching someone for their playstyle and for what should have been very clearly a joke... cause I can see that leading to a very boring future for mafia.

I hear where you're coming from and maybe I wouldn't have went that far if it was just that. But p1na didn't stop there. He switched to soft-claiming Town vanilla (or did you miss that)? And at L-6 (Krypsyn said L-5 but I'm pretty sure p1na had only 3 votes at the time) at that. He himself stated that he won't be as involved and/or as helpful as we would expect from him so in the best case scenario where he is just uninterested Town he is a distraction.

That's true, and part of the reason why I went ahead and hammered. His behaviour after the initial joke has not been great, but I still don't like the way the wagon formed.

True, and so did Hyper (I think). But they didn't. I'm not entirely keen on the holding back on voting when there is no actual need to, P1na clearly isn't coming up with anything new and any other conversation can be had Day 2, with P1na's flip and probably a NK flip in hand to help.
Why wait till the deadline? The best that could happen is we lynch P1na, the worst is the wagon falls apart and we no lynch. I really can't see another wagon reaching Lynch before the deadline.

I don't believe that claim is necessarily true (because, yes, it'd seem odd otherwise.)

It's not just the immediate playing of P1na that I take issue with either, it is what was declared the playstyle will be for the rest of the game and always in games, to not really take it seriously and joke around a lot and treat it however they want to regardless if they are town and it still hurts town to be behaving that way. You don't find that anti-town enough to be vote-worthy? Makes no sense to me, really. Also, adalia takes issue with all of our issues with P1na, criticizing practically all of them I think, and then goes along and casts the killing vote. Interesting. Not that I don't disagree that it needed done. Just. Interesting.)

I don't have any antagonism, but... Last game I wasn't even playing - you asked me for some feedback/advice. I gave it, and you didn't like it. Any of it. Would you agree with that? I would dare say from my perspective you were somewhere between "bristly" and "dismissive." Of someone who wasn't even in the game. Despite having reached out to ask. You just have your own idea of how to play.

Here I'm not even pointing the finger at you and you're somewhere out beyond bristly, somehow managing to find OMGUS in a non-accusation. It's kinda impressive, actually.

Now, the pattern of our communication about playstyles over the last few weeks, even before the game, is a little frustrating, admittedly, but also somewhat amusing. Also, in the scheme of things, not a big deal. I think I noted in the prior post I was convinced I was going to be the NK every night in game 29, but I lived. Make of that what you will.

You'll probably hate this as well, but as a metaphor, let me say that I think you currently (and I used to in my first two games) see the game like a geocentric system. The game, however, is really a heliocentric system.

You do make a good point. I don't like at all the reasons for which P1na has been voted, but there is no other viable wagon. And there is not likely to be another viable wagon before the deadline tomorrow.
I don't see any point in holding out for another 12 - 24 hours just to see what happens. I'm sick of taking every day to the deadline so every day drags on and on and on.
With that in mind, there wasn't really any choice but to finish P1na and see what happens. I could have left my vote on you (hmmm, with that in mind...)

Or voted for someone else who I found scummy but it wouldn't have done any good. And as I have previously advocated (read yogs game, I'm not repeating the arguments again) any flip is good for town, so whether I believe in P1na's lynch is irrelevant. Whether he is town or scum is irrelevant, all that matters is we get a flip.

Who knows, he might actually be neutral, or scum, but whatever he is a flip is a flip and better then nothing (or spending another day reading massive walls of text)

It's not just that, but as you have pointed out I did say the same last game (and that was an honest assesment, same as I would have made had I not been scum. In fact I had already thought you were scum last game before I was subbed in, ask Quad I PM'd him a couple of times saying they should totally have lynched you day 1) it could just be a clash of attitudes so I will certainly keep that in mind.
