Vitek: @dreamler; I admit I am already skimming you posts, so I am sorry if I have missed it, but you could please answer my question about trenton? If you answered it somewhere in that pile of fluff I apologoize and would appreciate if you point me toward it.
I think you're addressing me here, my name is drealmer7. I'll do my best to help you. HERE can be found my response to your questions. It's all relevant, I'd recommend giving it a read if you want to know what you want to know, I dislike repeating myself unnecessarily and I took time to address your concerns, I'd appreciate if you read them. (really, I guess, I don't care that much? my vote stands for you and I call upon others to join me in it at this point. Though, I am very open to hear anyone's reasons for why not to?! That would interest me greatly to hear, really.)

This sort of attitude of yours reminds me of some of the kids I learned with growing up who wanted the cliff notes or the teachers to just give the answers without the explanation to "why" (you know, those people who get the answer in math from someone else but have no idea how that result was reached and couldn't care to know.) If you let yourself, you might enjoy some of the interaction with me (or not?) I've been told it is almost story/game-like~! I don't mean to be rude, certainly!

Also, sometimes you just can't help who your allies are, for all I know, you were forced into intruder-commanded brainwashing by some crazy A.I. run amock or something like that and are having to be a bad guy against your own will even! I wouldn't put it past technology these days! It could even be making your focus wane on reading my long log entries, I understand. No hard feelings. Really.

Of course, if all of that is the case, we are most certainly enemies, and, we must eliminate you. If all of this judgement is mistaken, I am sorry! Ooof, I really don't want to be wrong! As I said, arguments for me putting my vote somewhere else are certainly welcome!
*bing* goes the log-entry timer, I think -

Sorry, man, but that is just too difficult to read. I appreciate the intention to make yourself clear. It's necessary in this game. But try breaking it into small sections for easy reading by those of us who don't want to have to focus. And Please close your parentheses. If there's one thing that really hurts me, right down in my heart, it's unclosed parentheses ;)
.....
Apologies for any misspellings or grammatical errors, because I really don't feel like proofreading at the moment.
Doh, I'm usually really good with all that parenthesizing! I don't know what else you want though, I broke my thoughts into paragraphs and log-entries addressing individuals fairly well and logically and it's not really THAT much, to me, so, as I said, I really did do my best. I'm also used to reading a LOT of dense text, so, I apologize for our lack of full-communication-compatibility, really. I think we're doing okay though. Maybe just, give yourself time and patience to read it piece-meal? One paragraph at a time over some time or something? All up to you. Maybe others can help you with me? I don't know.

Let it be tomorrow already you say? I'm with you. We need the rest of the group to speak up on their thoughts on who to vote for to eliminate (no blood thirst intended.) Pick someone who has drawn votes and arguments that you find reasonable enough or make your own suggestion of someone new.

All new perspectives are welcome.

In the post he directed you too you will find this:
" I am just probably almost as comfortable going ahead and voting for krypsyn or trentonlf (who has moved down in most viable candidate, obviously, by the casting of my vote for you, and the reason for me not casting my vote for him and doing you instead at this point, is because he is much more subtle in his intruder-like behavior than you or krypsyn have been, I'm comfortable just keeping my eye on him for the next few rounds of elimination and see how suspicion on him might build or decline "
My thoughts on the CRISIS at hand (just possibilities, I'm not saying I DEFINITELY think it is these ways, just, pontificating out loud for anyone who cares to hear, skip if you don't, I suppose!):

Each team has 1 intruder, 1 crew-member, OR there is 1 intruder among the 4.

There will be unpredictable resolutions made by our crazy A.I. computer to influence how well they are able to complete the tasks at hand and either:

a.) crew members will prevail and both situations will resolve in favor of the crew leading to the computer systems giving us information of some sort that will help in our task and, well, keeping teslascarabs at bay is reward enough beyond that.

or,

b.) the teslascarabs will be driven off but the repair crew will fail. If the generators and/or the power supply fail, both could, cause different things to happen or just 1 things to happen, depending on how bad the damage is and/or the level of repair that is able to be attained.

or,

c.) the teslascarabs will continue to cause more damage or cause serious damage enough/kill a crew member and maybe even more bad things might happen (death and something else?), but the generators and/or power supply are fixed which results in a variety of things possibly happening, again, dependent upon the degree of damage/repair. We still might get information with this semi-successful crisis handling.

or,

d.) both tasks fail, and we lose 2 crew members (or maybe an intruder if we are lucky?) even worse things could happen too? or we simply fail to gain any useful information to any degree and that is punishment compared to a successful handling of the crisis. A crew member could also permanently lose some FIN or STR because they lose an arm or whatever.

p.s. - I think we can handle the crisis and intruder-evaluation/discussion/voting process concurrently. If anyone else finds this not doable for any reason, please share, but I think we can handle it all.

drealmer7: [...] Vitek's talking about HSL [...]
I've gone back and reread all of 42 Vitek's posts. I invite you to do the same, and point me to those where he talks about me.

And just to be clear - I'm not asking about your suspicions of him, me, us, so no analysis or something; I just want you to reply only with the posts numbers of his posts where he talks about me.

You may feel that the sort of reply I'm asking for is beneath your intellect, I can understand it, but indulge me for once.

drealmer7: HSL is playing a fine line and is very hard to tell. I would say at this point Ix is not an intruder and more likely trentonlf and krpsyn are. Let's see how this goes already.
avatar
Vitek: Trenton must be like miles ahead of the rest us already. He was at the top of your list and at least 2 times since then you said he is even more likely.
Could you provide resoning for that or will we get more nuddying. (Props for you for totally killing the Ix's case by your flailing around)
He quoted me quoting you here ^ in post 662 is what I meant, he didn't actually say anything about you. I see how you took it the way you did and question me about it, he just quoted me quoting you/effectively brought up that part of the conversation I had mentioned and I thought MAYYBE he could have been internally questioning (not outwardly) why I thought you to be more suspicious or was defensive of that for some reason and was asking about trentonlf outwardly. Really, it's not even even a blip on my intruder-detection radar. Keep talking sense and we're good. Hopefully I'm doing okay for you, I really didn't mean to ignore any of your stuff, I think I really just addressed everything as much as I could.
I think I'll build a boat. I'll name it the John B, and it will be a sloop. What's the worst that could happen?!
Actually you haven't, but I got tired trying; if that was your goal, congrats. I've already pointed you multiple times to what you've ignored. It's up to you if you want to make an effort, and go back to address them.

I seriously think I did and I'm more and more thinking you're just messing with me to see how much I will type or something, I don't know. Definitely not my goal to tire you. You are frustrating me honestly, as, I think I've been pretty damn clear, redundant even, in sooo many points and perspectives, and I don't know what you're missing from me, honestly. I feel like everyone knows my thoughts way more than anyone else's even, and if you're still not getting enough from me, *phew,* I'm tired too. This entire post was primarily for you, HSL!!! I'm sure it may be helpful and insightful and good for others to read, but, really, if that didn't get you what you wanted, I'm very sorry!

Someone might eat up all of your grits. Actually, you're the only one from the South, so maybe not.

As long as they don't touch my collards!

You'll go home....but it will be the worst trip evah!!

agentcarr16: Wheee! Finicky!
(breadcrumb of other stats, perhaps?)
I wouldn't call that a breadcrumb at all...
I think I made it very clear how poorly I handle money with my low FINance stat.

avatar
agentcarr16: Interesting provisional team...
And RWarehall himself isn't too sure about the choices.
I guess I was a bit surprised to find myself on the list, but in retrospect, maybe whomever it was finds some assurance in the way I'm not pushing for any lynches on trivial grounds. Or at least suspects the other candidates for the position more than I. At least I provided a bit of a choice.

It's okay. I'll do my job as expected of any member of the crew. Seems a fine enough list given the limited information Day 1 usually provides.

dedoporno: I thought you might say that and you are correct. You never said you are not far off his. I was referring to your statement that you actually will think about it. Let's assume I was the dispatcher and had to pick who handles the crisis. I would almost certainly skip people that are penalized. I'm can't be certain about others but I'm sure most of them would think twice before going there. The fact that you are considering regardless of the penalty only makes sense if your stats are high enough for it to not be of that big impact. And with Vitek claiming 17+ stats.
As for my theory being wrong - I wasn't theorizing to accuse you in particular. I was just making a point and you were a good example.
I was volunteering literally out of curiosity because I wanted to take part in the event. The stat in question for which I could have done pretty good was Finesse, the stat I don't have -1 for. That negatively impacted one for today is Strength. Yet at the time I figured Vitek would have been a better choice due to his statements hence why I gave my 2 cents on him. It's kinda like in WoW. You don't have the character class/build for a specific role, but you're willing to try it to do X miscellaneous thing out of curiosity. This is the best analogy I could come up with, especially since I'm playing Vanilla WoW.

And omfg. Like for realz, bruhs. Is it just me or does this day 1 have an especially high number of great text walls of China?

HijacK: ... great text walls of China?
Well, everyone knows Mongolians are illiterate.
