rico2010: 28 days later for sure
The soundtrack to that movie was so fitting. I couldn't agree more.
All of my fav's have pretty much already been mentioned: Drive, 28 Days Later, Last of the Mohicans...

But I have to add Flash Gordon. It's so bad, but it's Queen, so it is also awesome.

Mostly my go to soundtracks are Trever Jones and Hans Zimmer. Both have done some lovely amazing scores.

Actually, one of my favorite recent musical sequence in a film (great music+image match) is the intro of 28 weeks later, that re-uses that theme.
Could be nostalgia talking, but I always loved the song that plays at the end of Titan A.E. : Not Quite Paradise

Maurice Jarre - Lawrence of Arabia: Overture
Bernard Herrmann - Vertigo (theme)
Miklós Rózsa - Double Indemnity: Suite
Miklós Rózsa - The Killers: Prelude
Bobby Womack - Across 110th Street (from Jackie Brown)
Randy Crawford - Street Life (from Jackie Brown)
Clin Mansell - Welcome to Lunar Industries (Three Year Stretch) (from Moon)

sauvignon1: Blade Runner- Blade Runner Blues
Blade Runner is pure atmosphere. You feel like you're in L.A. 2019, and the marvelous soundtrack adds the perfect neo-noir touch.
Blade Runner's music is awesome from start to end. It really helps to create the atmosphere for the movie.

You know, Barry_, what I think, personally, in my own opinion (of mine), is that instead of just naming these tracks as the OST of tarantino movies, you should name them as OST of their own movies. Even if you name them as tarantino packages, it would be more fair and/or interesting to actually know what movie they are from, and what soundtrack they actually belong to...

Like, you appreciate one of these tunes, it's more useful to know its own context, and where to find it along with the other tracks of its orginal soundtrack (tracks that match it, with variations on its theme, etc), rather than just knowing what compilation they were in. Even if it's a compilation tarantino uses for a film of his.

I'd say.
One of my all time favorite movie soundtracks must be from Blade Runner by Vangelis.

There is one awesome scene in the first movie too, can't find the sequence on yt.
Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Robocop, Kingdom of Heaven...basically anything epic.
