Roark takes a sip from a hip flask. He didn't expect battle so soon.

bler144: No one has died in the south...at least yet. Two of the other directions have.
Also, for anyone not looking at the main thread, RWarehall provoked the creature behind the grate (20' sword-centipede) and it crashed on through. It hasn't yet picked a direction, so...pray it goes north. ;)
If it comes south we may have to hope the Turn Undead diverts our current targets, push through the door that is open and let them fight each other.
But at least for this term your action / focus should be on responding to either the wights coming out of the trapdoor or the zombies/wights.

Edit - also, when checking to see which group you were in, I noticed that for some reason Doc's OP in this thread has been 'low rated.' I know, I know, rep doesn't mean anything, but go ahead and upvote, please.
I actually thought we were close to each other (me and everyone else, your dream team and Roark+Darrim+Thras), and your team was standing around either in front of the doors, covering our backs (like you said you were standing rear guard, for example), or that the team was moving around with Max and protecting him, but since you're in formation I thought that would've triggered the wraiths first, so I'm kind of confused how Svartalf and everyone else could've gotten past the trapdoor without triggering in, unless Doc decided you moved in a line from the sides and that's why it didn't count as approaching the trapdoor. :D
In either case, I hope Arsalan's fireball won't hit me, given that he should be in front of me and be able to cast it before I take any action. Hopefully there are people around so we can try avoid being flanked or surrounded, like I wanted to do when taking on the enemies.
