Stay in formation so that you are still within my or Roosevelt's Protection Against Evil though. Doc might otherwise interpret that as that you're not tagging behind and given the Beholder's powers, it's dangerous. Babark hasn't posted yet since the previous turn, so it's probably safer to go with Roosevelt's formation and defend whoever's there, until Babark comes online.

So far svartalf and Zayd are next to me, and potentially Rudy and Max.

Rudy, Max
, can you state if you're moving close to us? I can only protect up to three with my sphere, so there's spot for one person left.

Last time I could only cast two spells and couldn't attack (I cast Heal and PAE), so it seems like he is limiting them to some degree - however you should be able to fire off at least 3 spells, since in another tunnel someone used 3 buffs. Otherwise it'd be great if you could use the wand and cast spells. Right now it's me, you, zayd and maybe rudy or max are in our formation.

I'll add a wand attack it to my action but give it the lowest priority. If I can do everything in one turn, then great. If not, I will at least get the Reflect Spells cast on the 3 people I mentioned.

EDITED ACTION:
ORIGINAL:
Yes, getting behind the pillars should be priority so we don't give him any easy targets. I think that Reflect Spells is going to be the better choice for this situation. I feel like that is the only thing, that might actually be able to deal with the rays. So first, I make my way towards the nearest pillar in the 4 man group with Eranear to break line of sight with the Beholder. Then I cast Reflect Spells on myself and the 2 group leaders, Eranear and Roosevelt.

ADDENDUM:
If possible in the same turn, after getting behind a pillar and casting Reflect Spells on the 3 people, I will also use the Wand of Electricity to attack the Beholder from behind the cover of a pillar, optimally waiting for it to be distracted by the other happenings in the room. If I do manage to get a Wand attack in, I will only expose as little of myself as possible (so only head and the hand with the Wand) from behind the pillar and immediately take full cover again behind the pillar after shooting the wand.

It probably won't do much but worth a try I guess. At least it will test if casting electrical spells is viable or the Beholder is immune to it.

Sulibor: Duwnward the human mage hides behind closest pillar and casts Detect Secrets.
Adventurers it looks like we need to create a plan to deal with the Beholder.
If you would like me to create the “Steam Cloud” using area of effect spells and then, use it as protection to engage the beholder together at once, let me know. IF you have other ideas I am open for suggestions.

I would need some distraction to cast the spells also I do not wish to harm anyone so the area needs to be clear – we would need to cooperate.
Right now we're all trying to hide behind the pillars on the left side while attacking it with ranged attacks, do you know where the beholder is right now? It should be out in the middle open space, right? I thought it was going veering off in that direction from the open space, so it's safer if we just rush forward rather than cross the open space to the rigth side.

Which means, if it's still in the open and no one is around it, you should be safe to cast at it. You can always ask the Doc about positioning.

If Aslains notices the drow dropped the mirror then I abandon pursuit in order to pick up the mirror (and hide behind the pillars again). Otherwise, I carry my plan as written before (chicken bones, arrows, fire swords). Also, if the mirror happens to be broken, I kill that drow.
Part 1

Current Situation:

4 TURNS LEFT TO ESCAPE

In the large archway:
Cicatrix is now at the back of the room where she can make out a portal in the center. The mirror in her backpack starts vibrating. Most of the adventurers proceed silently along the left wall as to not alert the Beholder. A 2nd group of adventurers have now arrived at the landing. Roark can not see anything so he casts Daylight. The Beholder is now aware of all adventurers except for Aslain and Cicatrix. The Beholder incinerates Roark and uses Death Ray on Dunward's summoned Ogre. The Daylight spell is still active for the current turn.

Back In the Hag's Lair:
Darrim wakes from his long nap and arrives in the Hag's Lair. Bodies litter the ground from an intense battle. A door at the back of the room appears to be the only way to continue.

Current Actions Summary

80 - Green_Hilltop - Eranear - Elf Paladin -- ( Protection Against Evil, Reflect Spells, Bless, Magic Bubble )
1.I cast Protection Against Evil on myself
2.I'd suggest our group, buffed by PoE spells from me and Roosevelt, tries to engage the beholder from a distance while hiding behind the pilllars to avoid being hit, in order to gain time for the other party to try to find the magic mirror. Ideally some people could be buffed by Reflect Spells/Magic Shield and other spells our party has, and if Babark casts Globe of Protection again, it could help soak up the magic rays (if it works that way, so far it has stoped magic attacks). Everyone should pick whether they want to stay with Roosevelt or me while moving, as we can both protect up to 3 people each wiht our PoE, that gives bonus against saving throws/defense against evil attacks - ie. all beholder attacks. Someone should attack with the magical electric wand, ideally a melee fighter who can't engage the beholder from a distance. Let's go to the closest archway with pillars, so that we don't move much in the open. It should be the same one the other group took, so we're going to be basically switching places now, as they're moving ahead.
3.Svartalf, could you try passing the electric wand to someone else for this turn so they can attack the beholder with it, since if you're going to be casting spells, you're most likely not going to have enough actions to use it, which would be a pity?
4.I'm going to try this plan if everyone agrees, and since I'm recasting PoE, I might not have the time to use the wand. I stay in formation, and move forward with everyone to hide behind the pillars and allow ranged attackers target the beholder while protecting them if the beholder tries to attack them or us physically, but not breaking formation so that PoE works. If Reflect Spells is cast on me, I'm more bold and actively engage the beholder in combat without breaking formation (ie. having 3 people close to protect them with my PoE), instead of waiting for it to come near to us.

15 - Lone_Scout - Says Beldarion - Human Warrior -- ( Magic Shield )
As the Beholder seems to be watching the other side of the chamber, Beldarion takes a deep breath, trusting the Magic Shield in case he is noticed (he is not particularly stealthy, but apart from his heavy chain mail is not encumbered and is only carrying a single weapon, so he might have some chances of keeping a low profile), and continues dashing from behind a pillar to the next, following Triock and Aslain and hopefully leaving the monster behind.
I. Should the Beholder notice our group, or seem to be searching for us in our direction, he will send one of his potions (a random one, the one he grabs first) rolling to the other side of the room, trying to distract the Beholder and make it look down to the flask, turning its only blind side (the lower part) towards our party.
II. If the Beholder isn't distracted and nevertheless advances towards the party, Beldarion will unsheath Waihyra but remain concealed until it is close enough. Then, he will try to slide behind the monster and attack it from the opposite side, turning its attention away from the rest of the party members.
III. If our small vanguard team finally reaches Cicatrix and Aslain is in need of help, Beldarion will lose no time with subterfuge or diplomacy, drawing his sword and charging against the drow or whatever reinforcements she might have.

52 - RedFireGaming - Roark - Elven Druid -- DEAD/INCINERATED
Daylight floods the room, and Roark catches sight of the beholder.
"Oh Fu..." he says to himself. He quickly pulls a journal out of his cloak and throws it to the ground, mere moments before being disintegrated.
(Roark can not be revived from being incinerated.)

59 - Lemmus - Cicatrix - Drow Ranger -- ( Summoned Dire Wolf )
With the presence moving off and the adventurers behind her sounding distracted, Cicatrix sheathes her weapons and grasps the mirror instead. The vibration has her worried as does the focused intent coming from behind. Glancing at the mirror quickly she drops it on the ground as she sprints for the portal, hoping it will distract either the beast or her pursuit.
Cicatrix heads for the portal at the back of the room checking the area around it quickly for traps. If it appears magical she'll try throwing in a pebble to see what happens, but if it's just a doorway she'll go on through.
If anyone closes to within grabbing distance she'll use wolf and her hidden trick to defend herself.

35 - jonridan - Aslain Melemir - Elven Thief
1. I throw my chicken bones towards the shadowy figure (maybe the wolf will fall for it) and shoot as many arrows with the +2 bow as I can towards the drow (maybe at least I'll hit the wolf too). Immediately afterwards I switch to my twin short swords of fire damage and effing pray with a column between the Beholder and my small body.
2.If Aslains notices the drow dropped the mirror then I abandon pursuit in order to pick up the mirror (and hide behind the pillars again). Otherwise, I carry my plan as written before (chicken bones, arrows, fire swords). Also, if the mirror happens to be broken, I kill that drow.

5 - Sulibor - Dunward - Human Mage -- ( Magic Shield )
Duwnward the human mage hides behind closest pillar and casts Detect Secrets.

43 - idbeholdME - Svartalf - Dwarven Battlemage -- ( Protection Against Evil, Reflect Spells)
1.Yes, getting behind the pillars should be priority so we don't give him any easy targets. I think that Reflect Spells is going to be the better choice for this situation. I feel like that is the only thing, that might actually be able to deal with the rays. So first, I make my way towards the nearest pillar in the 4 man group with Eranear to break line of sight with the Beholder. 70 - Lifthrasil - Thras - Dwarven Mage -- TAZ UNCONSCIOUS, BOUND, & GAGGED
@Doc: do I have a clear shot where I don't endanger any group members?
Magic Shield on myself,
Lightning bolt on the Beholder (if I have a clear shot)
Acid Bolt on the Beholder
Another Lightning bolt on the Beholder for good measure (if I still have a clear shot)
Then I use my invisibility ring and move sidewards to be somewhere else when the Beholder retaliates.

Part 2

29 - gogtrial34987 - Og'rialt - Dwarf Brigand -- ( Magic Shield )
1.Og'rialt hides behind a pillar until he hears sounds of the Beholder being attacked or attacking (and thus presumably focusing its attention somewhere else), then trusting in his ability to avoid being ambushed by the eye stalks, he sprints after Beldarion and Aslain, while staying in the shelter of the pillars whenever possible, lingering a bit longer when he senses that it'd be warranted.
If Beldarion has trouble seeing in the dark, Og'rialt assists him. Og'rialt will also keep an eye on his finger bone to figure out where to go.
If Cicatrix is dead by the time he reaches her, he will swiftly search her corpse for the mirror as well as any other useful items.
If Cicatrix is alive, he will attempt to shoot her with his bow as often as possible, assuming he can do so without endangering his companions. If Cicatrix is still in the left part of the hall, and he doesn't have a clear shot with his bow, he will engage her in melee combat with his ice axe. (He will not do so in the central part of the hall.) Otherwise he will remain in the shelter of the closest pillar and wait for an opportune moment, standing ready to assist his companions (for example by shooting the dire wolf when he sees it, even though at present he doesn't know yet that it exists).
2.If Og'rialt notices the mirror lying on the ground, he will take it, though if possible he will ask Aslain to check it for traps first. If Aslain isn't nearby, he will risk it, though. If one of his companions finds the mirror first, he will gladly take it from them.
Torn between hatred for the drow, urging him to keep following her and kill her, and his sense of duty to once more go and play hero and save all the other adventurers, he'll choose the latter and will consult his guide for any new instructions (withdrawing behind a pillar first if he's out in the open).
If anyone of his companions hasn't noticed that the mirror has been returned, he will signal them, so they can decide for themselves if they want to keep pursuing Cicatrix. If any of his companions are already fighting Cicatrix, and appear to be in need of immediate help, Og'rialt will assist, as outlined before.
Otherwise, if there are no new instructions from the guide, and he doesn't notice anything out of the ordinary with his mirror, he will attempt to follow the original instructions from the guide, trying to face the Beholder with it, though he will stay to areas of the hallway which are proven safe from traps, so might have to backtrack in order to do so.

22 - 01kipper - Kip - Halfling Brigand
Kip continues forward to help Aslain. He is wary for any ambushes or traps. If he sees the dire wolf or the drow, and they are not in melee with anyone, he will move forward to the next pillar (so he's not in sight of the beholder) and fire shots at them from his sling. If he sees the wolf or drow in melee with someone, he will instead close to melee and use his spear. He will try to avoid the attention of the beholder.

69 - alexandros050 - Rudy - Human Ranger
69 Rudy Human Ranger - .... Rudy will move forward and hide behind a pillar on the left side..Then he will shoot arrows with his bow to the beholder from a safe distance aiming carefully

9 - MaxFulvus - Max, son of Fulvus - Dwarven Thief
I'm looking the little pile of ashes which was Roark before being disintegrated.
"Too bad, I will never have my revenge. I simply wanted to tear off his teeth one by one, to avoid to bite people by accident. You fool !"
Hidden behind my pillar, I have no way to escape without being detected by the Beholder, thanks to the stupidity of the elven druid. My only ranged weapons are my throwing axes and the only way to injure it with them is to target its central eye. I'm convinced I wasn't revived for nothing, I have a role to play before the end. Maybe I will be lucky enough to blind the monster ?
I quickly throw my axes towards the Beholder, targeting its central eye, then picking up the journal Roark dropped on the ground and I sprint with my little legs to recover the tenuous security of the pillar. I have a desperate plan in mind if things turn bad, but I'am waiting for the actions of the other adventurers.

41 - zlaywal - Zayd ibn Yasin - Human Ranger
Zayd decides to stick to a pillar with Eranear party. He readies his fire damage bow. He'll attack the Beholder's eye after the creatures distracted by others' action.

2 - bler144 - SmartyFartBlart - Human Paladin -- ( Reflect Spells, Protective Bubble )
1.I think I still have 1x protection bubble. If so, I'll cast it and proceed forward with...Babark's group, I suppose, keeping an eye out for anything I can melee.
In a pinch I could try throwing a hammer if it came near enough, but I suspect these aren't balanced Mjolnir-style. So I'll hold off and be more alert for enemies on the ground or traps.
2. At risk that it may be pagan propaganda,I'll amend to pick up the diary and skim through it for anything that may be of value for what's aside while slowly following behind our company.

28 - triock - Triock Ulagolor - Elven Paladin -- ( Healing Ring )
Triock Ulagolor, Elven Paladin, moves ahead quickly behind Aslain, making sure to not make much noise and trigger any traps. Suddenly, a bright light illuminates the room. But he's not shocked, cause there's only one thought on his mind: "Purge the Evil, Kill that Drow! Kill that Drow! Kill her! Kill! Kill!! KIIIILLLL!!!!!!" He then sees shadows in the distance, so he shoots several arrows this way, while trying to avoid hitting Aslain as much as possible. If they succesfully reach "the target", he will help his companions to fight Beholder. If not, he will engage in a melee combat with Drow using his flamesword Riarwirn and a shield.

13 - paladin181 - Roosevelt - Human Paladin -- ( Protection Against Evil )
++ROOSEVELT DASHES BEHIND THE NEAREST PILLAR WITH HIS SHIELD RAISED.
"WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING OR THAT THING WILL KILL US ALL!"++

72 - park_84 - Darrim - Dwarf Warrior
Darrim stops for a moment to show respect to Kyp and continues running towards the door.

Haven't taken turn yet:
48 - babark - Babargh - Dwarven Cleric -- ( Globe of Protection )
78 - CervelloYM - Cervello - Drow Battlemage

bler144: Presumably I know how to read, and other than heal/bubble, I'm not particularly useful in this fight.

At risk that it may be pagan propaganda,I'll amend to pick up the diary and skim through it for anything that may be of value for what's aside while slowly following behind our company.
The journal is made of sturdy leather, with a strap holding it firmly closed. On opening it, you find the pages hold a secret compartment containing a vial, an eggshell carefully wrapped in cloth, and an extremely thin bundle of rope with a narrow hook at the end. Opposite these items is a page of rather shaky handwriting.

I write this in the hopes that should I be killed or captured, my mission may not fail. The clan has ordered the drow Cicatrix to be brought back to our camp to face judgement for her crimes against our allies. My mission was to follow her, wait for an opportunity, and strike. The uninitiated must not be expected to carry out a live capture. The drow's death is your only prerogative. The clan promises a handsome reward to the adventurer who accomplishes this task, as well as our protection from enemies. The instructions for finding us will be revealed when the page is dipped in drow blood. Enclosed in this journal are a blinding smoke bomb, a poison deadly to drows, and one of our favorite tools for disabling enemies. May your nerve be true and your heart without mercy.

And should the drow have picked up this journal, then my mission has already been accomplished. You will find these pages quite deadly to your race. The blood of our foes will forever flow as water.

Tell Elaria I loved her.

Roark, Elven Druid.

Oh okay, that makes sense. Do all Drow have a secret objective like Tridris has had, btw, or is it only some?
Only Tridris was given a secret objective, the others have been doing their own thing.
Vertel in the Eastern tunnel was possessed by an evil spirit at the start of the game when Thras opened the chest with the top hat. He was going to be my plaything but unfortunately dropped out early on.
