@Doc: final loot distribution:
- one-handed axe with an ice rune set in the blade => Og'rialt
- a belt of protection from piercing => Beldarion
- a longbow +2 damage => Aslain
- a dagger +2 vs undead => Sulibor
- 3 healing potions, => 1 to Sulibor, and I guess 2 to Og'rialt since everyone else has them already, with them earmarked for use on my fellow party members, in the hope to need them very sparingly. :)
- 2 cure disease potions => 1 to Beldarion and 1 to Kip
- several emeralds => equally divided over Og'rialt, Beldarion, Aslain, Sulibor and Kip, trusting that "several" is cleanly divisible through 5.

I fall into formation behind Aslain and Beldarion, carefully making our way down the small tunnel (away from the central chamber), and leaving enough space between me and Aslain and Beldarion in front, and Kip and Sulibor at the back, to allow each of us to maneuver freely. I keep an eye out for traps and secrets, just in case any slip by Aslain's perceptive eyes.
(And, when we pass the dead Orc which Rudy killed, I'll use my brigand experience to spot and take any loot which Rudy missed.)

Also, "Brave Beldarion, just to make certain, are you feeling fully restored after that one healing potion? If not, I have a second one with your name on it right here."

Doc confirmed that "no arrows" are needed (also for bolts in case anyone has or finds a crossbow).

"No traps can slip by me... I either see it or activate it hehe. Let's go."

Triock Ulagolor, Elven Paladin, walks past the trapdoor, ignoring everyone around him and position himself near the door on the left wall. He quietly sings and old Elvish prayer for protection, raise his shield and carefully opens the door.
Not many people in the main tunnel have stated their action yet. I'm going to check the door I cleared the ward on. Anyone else going there? I feel we would lose too much time if we were to check them all one by one. We should create smaller groups which will scout what is behind each door, if it is just a room or another pathway we can take beside the main tunnel etc.

Cicatrix (F Drow Ranger) continues along the side tunnel. Her goal is escape, not looting or monster fighter. She tries to stay aware of traps or monsters so that they don't surprise her, but is moving as quickly as is safe.
22 - Kip - Halfling Brigand - Southern side tunnel

If we see Cicatrix in the side tunnel as we come out of the doorway, we will wait for her to pass before following at a discrete distance.

My preference would be to explore the open room, though if the main hall continues on the room may lead nowhere.

As a tanky-type, I feel some obligation to wait and see what everyone is doing and then support what tactically makes the most sense.

Though if I'm following, we currently have Babargh looking in the open room, you opening the unwarded door, and Triock opening a completely different door?

That seems spread a bit thin, esp. having lost two of our company already from the trapdoor + firstdoor.

Also, my very acute human hearing (and ability to read the main chamber thread) tells me we probably have a few turns before the centipede would pursue, even should it choose a southerly course. I'd suggest cohering around 1-2 sets of actions, personally.

Confirmed.
(Although as Cicatrix is only at the beginning of the tunnel right now, and we're a good ways down it, I'd expect us to be at the next section when Cicatrix reaches these three doors.)

Following several paths is the best way to encounter several foes at the same time. Our remaining party should explore the unwarded room. My 2 gold pieces ; )

I do not advocate splitting up, but nothing wrong with gaining some knowledge on all our options. I don't automatically accept that the previously warded door is our best bet simply because it was warded. By that logic, the trapdoor with the wights (the most dangerous creatures we faced) would be the path with the most promise. Or the door with the most enemies would be (that I'm currently checking).
Once we have more information, we can make a better decision. Perhaps in the mean time you can also passively investigate the path you are advocating?

PS: someone mentioned that my Globe of Protection lasts 3 turns. This is incorrect, it lasts longer.
Back to my original plan, checking the left door at the far back, sniggering.

I just feel like Doc has to have some mechanic up his sleeve to eliminate stragglers, people who take too long and people who go AFK. Otherwise, the game could go on forever. I feel like something bad could happen if we spend the next 5 turns in the same spot checking the doors 1 by one. It would of course be the safest course of action but I have a bad feeling about it, that's all.

Well, he said so in the beginning: whoever doesn't post for two days is automatically eliminated.

Well, if you're going to give Doc ideas like that...!

But seriously, it's not going to take 5 turns, just 1 turn. I'm checking the entrance the skeletons came through, Max is checking the recently unwarded entrance, the Elven Paladin and evil drow are checking the door on the left wall (my geography is getting a bit hazy now), the human ranger seems primed to check the trapdoor?

Some are suggesting continuing down this main tunnel, and I would be fine with that, just be aware that apparently there's some creature possibly making its way down here from our starting chamber.

If you check the first right room, who will protect me if I check the unwarded room ?
