The_Blog: Gonna grab some sleep. Good night guys. :)
Rest well and I'm so glad to see you carried the trivia torch! You've been asking great questions :)

j0ekerr: In the DVD-HD vs BluRay war, the winner was Netflix.

I don't know a single person who owns a bluray player nor has plans to.

Shendue: I got one plus a PS3 and plenty of Bluray discs. I always buy them in sales when they are around 10€. And i got box sets of The Lord of The Rings Extended Version, Back to the Future and Dark Knight trilogy, Game of Thrones Seasons 1-4 and the complete series of Breaking Bad. Also a bunch of anime, mostly Miyazaki stuff plus the 3 Rebuild of Evangelion movies.
Somebody needs to hurry up and release the Spirited Away Blu Ray over here in NA. :(

Good night.
Thanks for being with us.

Tarnicus: It's our trap to make people stay forever and join in the insanity of future Insomnia sales :)

MeganSC: I already feel my money slipping further out of my control...
I wasn't going to purchase anything this sale, in fact I didn't even realise it was on as I was too busy frigging around with doctors and going to hospital. Since then I am unsure of what I have spent, and am aghast to check my bank balance :D

JDelekto: I'm trying to be cautious and wait to see who ends up on top (kind of like VHS vs. BetaMax or DVD-HD vs. Blu-Ray). :-)

The PS3 had one built in and I bought a few movies on Blu-Ray. On a 1080p projector, Avatar looked *freaking awesome* I could see the leaves on the trees. It reminded me of the first time I got glasses.

MeganSC: I wasn't intending on posting on the forums when I made that username, I signed up purely to spend money...

dgwake: Welcome to the club. I have no idea what i was thinking when I typed this name.
I have always used Dreki (in some form ) on most forums except City of Heroes I took Mapserver as a joke.
Back in my internet socialising heyday (if you could call it that) I used 'Redsnuffle'... That started all the way back with Club Penguin, my best friend had 'Pinksnuffle' so naturally we had to have matching usernames. It stuck with me all the way up until I realised I had grown into an adult and needed to drop it. Now I am simply, MeganSC.

ymerejsasnak: Anyone have any recommendations out of the remaining games that fit these criteria:

~$5 US or less sale price
Linux friendly (either actual Linux version or no major issues using Wine)
something that will run on my humble geforce 8400gs (only 256MB...sad I know)

?
Halfway should be ok too: http://www.gog.com/game/halfway

InaneKorruption: The funniest thing about trent is that he only registered in April 2014 yet he still has more rep than most older GOG users. Guess I better start gifting too.
avatar
stg83: Nope, the funniest thing about trentonlf is that he enjoyed The Last Airbender movie. :P
Why not? The movie isn't bad at all. Its only shortcoming is that it can't hold a candle to the far superior series that everyone should watch.

Tarnicus: Gah you guys have gotten me to 666 rep! I said last night that if that were to happen, I would be banished to the underworld!

*Tarnicus begins casting Ward: Dimensional Shield*
Yes, actually after I came back from outside today I saw some comments referring to that when I was checking back on this thread. So I started +repping some of your posts to get you close to the number of the beast and I see that we have succeeded. ;)

Senteria: Hello there. Long time no see. =)

I am waiting for Hammerwatch but it's not coming up. :/
I have Humble Store Hammerwatch if you interested...

bler144: SC for South Carolina, or StarCraft, or Santa Clause?

No, none of those?

MeganSC: They stand for (rather stupidly, on my part) my surname. It's double barreled, hence the two letters. It's a fairly obscure name so I think I'm safe knowing that it is unlikely that someone will guess it :) I wasn't intending on posting on the forums when I made that username, I signed up purely to spend money...
Like most of us.

Thanks again. Actually, that was one of my two crits. :)
I finally got a proper freebie with Among The Sleep! I just came to the site to check up on how was the Insomnia going before turning everything off. In 4 hours I have a flight to catch and will be offline in the next two days. So guys it was a great time being here in the forum during this sale. Keep the good mood flowing!
