Oddly, I don't think I've replayed from start to finish any RPG, even though I have replayed lots of games from start to finish, but they have been either RTS, FPS (action) or adventure games. Like Starcraft and Age of Empires 1-2, Age of Mythology, Serious Sam and Half-life 1-2, I've replayed them several times.

I did restart Baldur's Gate several times, but that was due to forgetting what I was doing, or not being happy with my main character.

I thought about starting Diablo 2 over with a different class, but I was unsure if I can really care to replay it all just to try a new character. I "finished" it once with the warrior type. Same with Nox, it is supposed to give a bit different story and places with different classes, but I don't feel like it. I prefer party-based CRPGs like Icewind Dale that let me play with many different classes at the same time, with one playthrough.

Part of this is also because nowadays I have such an abundance of unplayed games, so I force myself to play something new, even if I get an urge to replay Starcraft Age of Empires again.

Yeah. I think I have about twenty finished playthroughs of Dragon Age: Origins. Probably ten or so for the entire Mass Effect trilogy, and the same for the KOTOR games. Some other games I've replayed 2-5 times.
I recently replayed Persona 4 (I could've sworn it was a lot more difficult first time round).
However that is one of a very few long games I'd consider replaying, it mostly depends on convenience and enjoyment, I'd be more willing to play a long game on a laptop/DS/Gameboy as I could play it on the go. Also if I loved playing the game as a kid (Gotta love that nostalgia).

I lost my save data just when I was near completing Ni No Kuni and I just couldn't go back to playing it again. I don't think I'd replay the Mass Effect series because I was happy with the ending.

Games I have replayed the most:
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky
Final Fantasy 7 and 8
Skyrim
Morrowind
Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks
never i rarely finish em not enough concentration span
I replay RPGs a lot, to the point where I sometimes find myself replaying instead of playing games I haven't played before.

One RPG I love replaying is Final Fantasy Legend 1 (SaGa 1), mainly because that game is short and dense. I remember reading that apparently the game was developed with the intent of being playable from start to finish on a flight between the US and Japan. It's also interesting that the game's short length and fast pace actually make many of the game's obvious flaws significantly less significant. (Of course, it would still be nice if we could get a version with a good RNG that doesn't introduce new bugs.)
I've replayed Arcanum twice over several years. Most recently with an updated GOG version.
Solid topic!

I SAY I will but I very rarely do.

I even keep an obsessive amount of saves, "just in case" I want to go back and try playing the game from X point on, but making a different important choice. I never do this either.

All and all I've probably only replayed a "really big" one once or twice. Usually if I'm inclined to do a "different playstyle" (a radically different character or vastly different choices).

I'm MUCH more likely to go back to a game years later than I am sooner - which is nice because it's more likely I've forgotten quite a bit and can approach it with new eyes.

But to me, there's just nothing like that first time with a new game, learning as one goes and experiencing the world / gameplay for the first time.
No, not really. I prefer to have a blast and see as much as possible for one playthrough. That said, I think I'll replay both Planescape Torment and Arcanum in a few years.
Sometimes. I've finished Fallout1 twice, and Fallout2 three times, though in the latter case the third time was to check out the restoration mod. What I'm far more likely to do however is to restart an rpg a couple of hours in because I'm not satisfied with my character. Diablo 2 for instance, the barbarian I took to lvl71 must have been like the 10th barbarian I tried. I couldn't decide between bash, concentrated strike and double swing/frenzy. It's not so bad to restart from the beginning in Diablo 2 though, since it's great fun right from the start. Some other rpgs are far more slower to get going, like the original campaign from never winter nights. Playing that prison break part over and over with a low level character gets old fast :P
Oh, I've replayed plenty of games. Mostly back before I finished school and had no income of my own to buy games with. Since I owned few games, each one was precious and I would replay it several times if it was good enough. I must've had 15 playthroughs of F2. Nowadays I'll replay long games rarely, and usually for the story. The first time I play a game I'm still learning all the ropes, and make a few mistakes in character development or quest choices. The second playthrough is then a more relaxed one, "cinematic" if you will, with optimal choices for my character as now I know what lies before me.
Short answer: Yes.

Long answer: It depends, if am I currently playing another long game, am I in an RPG mood, if I'm in the mood for playing a long game, how long it is, how much I loved it, and #hrs to complete vs how much I loved it. I have played Deus Ex GOTY several times before. I have played KOTOR twice.

The Last Story is a game I feel I will replay again in the future because I loved it so much and the ending hit me hard. A 40hrs long game where I can take my time and enjoy it (as well as wasting time bumping into people and slipping and falling on lemons XD ). On the other hand an RPG that would take me a long time to beat, without an engrossing story which focuses on level grinding, I'm less inclined to replay (the only exception being Diablo 2, but it could be YEARS more before I return to it).
I tend to re-play games that I loved or that have a massive replay value. And most of the times I feel like I'd better choose that already played awesome game rather than start a new one that *might* be good. T'is not the best habit I have, but it does give joy. Also, what concerns rpgs, I tend to play like a turtle - slowly, but I am very interested to sniff every corner, to search for hidden secrets, to keep on repeating some awesome minigames (like races or maybe interesting never ending side quests). Or I might just admire views for tens of minutes.

To name a few games...
- RAGE. Started maybe 5 times, finished 2 times. The game takes time especially since I liked to free drive and kill mutants or bandit cars.
- The Witcher. Started about 6 times, finished 2 times. And currently playing, aiming to finish for the third time.
- The Witcher 2. Started three times, finished once. Almost finished a second time, but something changed in my life and I dropped the game almost at the end. What I couldn't get myself to do, was to change sides in the game. I always keep choosing Scoi'atael and not the Roche. So I can smell not one but TWO more times in my life to finish this game. One time I shall choose the other side to check how it plays out. And the other time I shall need a fresh new save.
- The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing. Finished first game three times, second game twice and the third game once. And I shall play all TIAoVH again sometime just because I love the game.
- Gothic 2. Finished twice. Great game.
- Dishonored. Finished twice. Maybe three times. And I shall play the game again! Way too good to forget. And with all the different variations! Should I go stealthy or should I murder every living thing? Should I abuse my powers or should I try to play like an ordinary human assassin?

There are a few more games I played more than once. And I believe there will be many more in the future.
Depends really on the game. Usually I will replay only those that have somewhat significant branching paths or can be played through in a variety of ways (example: heavy focus on combat vs. largely diplomatic approach). If the game has few such options, I usually only play it once, while trying to experience as much of it as possible (story-wise).
Length isn't an issue for me. It a combination of several factors: how much did I enjoy the story and could watch it all over again, the replayability of the game - if I could play it in a different way and/or do side quests that I miss.
I can't mainly because of time constraints. It sucks, but that's how it is. I tend to wait for newer games to get all of the DLCs before I get them, because realistically I only have one shot.
