I'm currently watching Homeland, The leftovers, Fargo, The knick and a few others of minor interest.
The games of thrones i am reading the books.
Haha, boy if I do...

My favorites are Twin Peaks, the X-files, Fringe, Eureka and Warehouse 13. Probably some more as well, but those are the ones that comes to mind.
Of recent watchings:

The tv series "Hannibal" is really good and i was floored when I found out it was from NBC. So thought this was from HBO or something b/c content.

I've enjoyed "Another Period" which is a spoof on all the downton abbey crap.

Red Vs Blue. It starts off pretty silly, but they really get a good story going and I found myself needing to see how it ended. Don't need to have played Halo to enjoy it.
I watch all the new comic book shows, game of thrones, the musketeers, dark matter, killjoys, modern family, big bang theory, 2 broke girls.
I hate game of thrones.

I have never watched a single episode of the series, and I hear it's quite good. But I've read the books, or at least two and a half of them. They're the most sickly overwritten, poorly edited pieces of shit I've ever read. There's a great storyline in them, but I don't need to read 10 pages of people drinking in a canteen where none of them will be important and they're being introduced just because the author felt he needed filler. There's too much padding, and the fact that some people think the books are great just because they are over 1000 pages each shows you how little your average GoT fan actually knows about good writing.

As for TV series, I absolutely love House of Cards. I've been watching the third season of Once Upon a Time recently along with Jessica Jones. I watched Daredevil, although I didn't love it, and I found the first season of Arrow to be quite good (although the island scenes were boring) - I have the second season here in bluray but haven't started it. I also like Orange is the New Black and... Teen Wolf. Yeah, don't look at me that way :P

As for comedies, I'm particularly fond of Big Bang Theory and I've been rewatching Malcolm in the Middle lately, while being constantly amazed by how current the show manages to remain fifteen years after its premiere. I also like animated comedies, so The Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad and Futurama (RIP) are among my favorites.
The simpsons, south park sometimes and old episode futurama and gundam

The rest 90% shows now a days are just cops and doctor bullshit

Instead of wasting time with those its better to play games or watch movies
I like tv series more than movies.

Currently watching

First time:
Buffy (season 5)
Angel (season 2)

New Series:
Doctor Who (although i have yet to watch current season)
Brooklyn nine nine
Castle

But buffy and angel are taking majority of my tv watching time. what great series they are.
I binged on "The Strain" recently after having watched most of the first season already but then losing interest. I'm somebody who's not afraid to just skip past "filler" b.s. - the kid being annoying, unnecessary sexual tension, stuff like that, so I got through it in a few days.

I was considering "The Leftovers" for a time but really I have YouTube I can watch and plenty of games to play. :)

I try to stay away from tv series, because I know what a massive time sink it can be. But I do make exceptions for the really really good ones, like Macgyver and X-Files! I used to watch Battlestar Gallactica too, but then I found out how it ended, and it annoyed me so much that I stopped watching the series. A series I'm currently on the lookout for is Counterstrike

Spartacus was pretty awesome as well, but the new actor just wasn't in the same league as the season 1 actor, sadly. Still, seasons 1 and 1.5 are phenomenal

I've been rewatching some of TRON Uprising. What a brilliant show.
I'm not dedicated to any show right now. I'm usually not home or not interested when a tv show is on tv.
Where does everyone watch their tv series? Hulu? Netflix? Other?
I'm interested in trying to watch Warehouse13 and various others. I'm not looking to pirate or risk getting a virus just for a tv show, but I would hate to pay $X and find out the tv series is cheaper or free elsewhere. I don't mind commercials if that matters as I usually am doing something else besides watching a movie or tv episode.
Yes, it's definitely easier to sit down with an episode or two of a TV series than to watch a movie for a couple of hours.

Some series I really like:
Great Teacher Onizuka
Quantum Leap
X-files
I Dream of Jeannie
Northern Exposure
the Pretender
Big Bang Theory
Seinfeld
Samurai Champloo
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
Stargate SG-1
Stargate: Atlantis

I love Stargate, especially SG-1, my favorite.
Also liked Game of thrones. Waiting for 6th season.

Angel really hit its stride in season 2, getting stronger as the season goes on. Great series. I don't know if I like it more than Buffy overall, but I appreciate the lack of Xander.
