Kickstarter is live!

And they already got 1/10th of requested sum.

Couldn't justify the $300 tier but I was in at $125 within about two minutes of getting the email ;)

D:OS was tremendous fun. Even if they didn't improve a thing it would be worth buying the sequel, but it does look like they'll be doing even better with it second time around. Plus, for those reluctant to pledge, Larian has shown they know how to manage a project, so this should be a safe bet.

Oh well, backing for CE. I backed for DOS CE as well and the physical goods are the best out of POE's and WL2's. Seems I'm much more reserved about spending $145 ($20 for shipping) now that the Kickstarter fervor is long gone.
No physical DVD, thats disappointing :(

Anyway, in for a penny...backed :)
I really liked the first one but it dragged on some towards the end and the home hub was disappointingly underused imo.

Maybe if double dibs had had an early bird discount I might've stepped in but I think I'll pass on it this time till it comes out and then we'll see.

The PoE CE box was actually very nice; I'd say it's as good as the D:OS box, myself, though part of that could be because it's pretty much the same size as the BG2 CE box, which gives it a +1 Nostalgia bonus ^_^
The Kickstarter has already reached its goal. Not bad. :-)

Out of 13000 people funding it right now 10000 chose the $25 dollar option. So the remaining 3000 provided a lot more than half of the funding themselves.

I took it too so I don't miss it but it is highly possible I'll upgrade in coming weeks when I get chance to think about it.
As much as I've grown to not like the Kickstarter approach, this was a good reason to back a game. Great devs with a great track record and getting the original game that I have been putting off bundled in. ;)

I still was hoping they would go back to their roots and create a Divinity 3 for their next title.

Now I'm sad the KS campaign will last so long... I want my D:OS1 key!!!!! :p
Backed yesterday as soon as I saw the kickstarter. Watched the video and stuff after backing. I have total confidence in Larian. I absolutely loved the first Original Sin and can't wait to play the enhanced edition.

I am probably being rather dense, but what is happening to the original to make it "enhanced"?

They're doing a fairly major overhaul including new quests/improved quests, reworked story, fully voiced characters, split screen co-op, new ending, and a bunch of other stuff. Almost a new game (in fact, saves from the original game won't be compatible).
I'd rather Dragon Age:Origins 2

I'd love that as well, but try pitching that one to EA/BioWare. Not gonna happen.

Thanks, that is nice to hear.
As someone who has not even played the original game yet, I do wonder now just how much extra / changed content there will be. I will wait for other to review the game to see if it is worth playing both or just holding out for the EE.
Something exciting to look forward too.
