The change of the rights in the IP brought a copy with less extras. Annoying, indeed

scientiae: I think they're in the Gog version. I seem to remember them. (I have a UK version, and I think they're in that, even though the UK was part of the EU at the time. Or maybe that's how I noticed it. Getting old sucks.) Dang, I suppose I should stop shootin' the breeze and go load it up, but then I'd have to play for a while to get to the town to see if they're still there.

* looks around to see if anyone else will pipe up *

I like the dynamite trick. Those little monsters can take quest items, too.

edit:
actually, maybe I patched my UK version to the US version to rollback the kid redaction.
I'd have a look but I'm going out in a minute. They definitely weren't in my old UK disk version. I think the GOG version comes with the patch by Killap that fixes some bugs and adds the children back so they may be there even if it is the European version.

Beware of using dynamite, I can't remember if it turns people hostile or not! If you do get something important stolen in The Den you can sometimes buy it back from one of the shops though.

Then why even bother posting in this thread at all?

darktjm: Why does this topic keep coming up? Does nobody actually do any research before asking questions? Shame on the people in this thread who encourage this kind of behavor by actually answering the question, instead of pointing people to the previous thread(s).
The reality is it takes 10 seconds to answer a question and a few minutes to search and post, then format the answer. So rather than take my time to research something, I can readily provide the answer.
