We’d like to inform you that due to the publisher's request, Hellish Quart will be delisted from our catalog on Thursday, February 15th, 6 PM UTC.

For everyone who purchased this title prior to the delisting, it will remain in their GOG library. Additionally, the Publisher informed us that the game will continue receiving updates to retain parity with versions from other storefronts.

What the... It's not even at 1.0 and it's been getting steady updates!

If they plan to keep updating the delisted GOG build, why delist at all? It makes no sense!

That's such a bizarre decision.
Maybe they found a new publisher, who intends to use DRM.

Definitely a bizarre decision if they plan to keep updating it.

This makes me doubt they are going to keep their word, hope I'm wrong though.
Maybe they don't like having an EA game in multiple places, but if they're intending to bring it back when it reaches 1.0, you'd think the message would mention that.

Indeed, very weird decision... And even stranger when you see how it's advertised (screenshot from what shows up when you google it).

A pity, looked like a potentially interesting title.

Edit: And the site currently still has a buy at GOG.com link.

Shame, it has good reviews.

Hopefully it comes back, but maybe it just wasn't selling well enough for Kubold. :-/ (5000 reviews on Steam vs like 25 reviews here)

Such a shame, since GOG is already severely lacking in fighting games and a game akin to Bushido Blade is a rarity.
Sad.
I'm conflicted, the game seems interesting and I was waiting for the full release. However, I'm not sure I trust that they actually will keep updating the GOG version... At least I have a few days to think about it.
Too bad, seems interesting, was on my wishlist, but I usually avoid early access games altogether.

NO!

I, an idiot, should have bought the game in the last sale. I had already planned it, but there were so many other games in the shopping cart.

Why isn't it on sale now? I won't buy it for almost 17 bucks. :-(

What? Nooooooo, come on... this was actually the one in development title I greatly enjoyed :(. I was even following up on the updates and all that...

Really sad to hear this. This is the only game I've bought before release. I'm glad that it will be kept up to date, but this still bothers me. Hopefully it will be brought back after release.
