Deadpool 2 trailer with a surprising cameo and an easter egg.

Surprising cameo? Hardly. I really enjoyed that Superman spoof though.

I must say, I was quite surprised by how thoroughly I enjoyed the first Deadpool, and if the trailer is any measure to go by the sequel ought to be just as fun. :) I very much like how it's all so self-referential and not taking itself seriously at all.

"McAvoy or Stewart? These timelines are so confusing."
Okay, that was better than the absolute whole of Deadpool 1.

(Also : spoiler warning for "The Old Man And The Sea" in case you meant to read it.)

It's ok, but vastly overrated. Now Logan- that's a movie. Although it makes the timelines even more confusing :D
I really wish Stan Lee would give up on his agreement to appear in every film that he's got the contract that lets him.
I mean, c'mon! Appearing in all films in all different countries & planets ffs!? It's not good for the film.

I guess the Stan Lee super fan boys/girls like to go "Oooh, there he is, found him!" but it's just bad.
Don't get me wrong, him & the other comic guys did some good stuff, but just give it a break, please!!

Anyhoe, I was dreading first Dead Pool because it was over hyped by all I know, but I really did like it.
Hope this one turns out just as good.

I find it doubtful that Deadpool 2 will live up to the first film. But hopefully it will still be all good fun. :)

Meh. To be fair, I'm not the absolute best client for superhero movies. That trailer was the right length.

No seriously, I expected Deadpool to be more gimmicky. It felt like... the usual boring stuff with 10% more wisecracks ? Back to Mystery Men with me. Or to parodic sketches, which this trailer felt like. Wake me up when Marvel hires Zucker, Abraham & Zucker.

Thinking of it, superhero movies are like star trek, to me. I enjoy the bits (or versions) that really subvert them or go to weird direction, away from what makes the franchises cool to their fans. Galaxy Quest and the silly parts of Voyage Home for Star Trek. Mystery Men, Ant Man's electric train and Captain America's clever re-contextualization as a cheezy was propaganda tool, for superheroes. The core itself leves me cold no matter how I try. And Deadpool 1 was closer to it than expected.

Somehow I'm like these horrible people who order a pizza and only eat the crust. I guess.

Why would you dread Dead Pool? All the previous Dirty Harry movies were great!

I hope Magnum Force Awakens will be as good.

In 41 years on this planet that is the first time I have ever heard of someone doing that.

And that particular Dirty Harry movie sucked! :P
The rest were fantastic.

Though Jim Carry as the rock star was fun.

I honestly don't remember anything about it. I've seen the first two recently, but I haven't seen the other three in over a decade I think. I really need to rewatch them.
Oddly enough, we got The Dead Pool in (charity) shop other day & another volunteer read the back as I passed it to her & said "Oh, Jim Carrey is in it? He's funny."

Firstly, I had to point out that he isn't funny ;p
Secondly, I went "Whhhhhhhhhhhaaaa!?"

Seen it twice, had no idea it was him. Had to even check online to be sure.
Still cringe at Liam Neeson role though ;)
