TrevorWilliams: Dark Horse has changed the way they do their freebies. They just sort of show up as in your library, you don't have to 'purchase' them anymore. This probably means that they won't be in your account if they ever raise the price or remove them. A new freebie today:

s17tabris: I've noticed that a few days ago, when I wanted to add some free comics to my account. :(

I'm not really a hardcore comic book collector. So far, I've bought only one volume of a digital comic book (which I just found out that I already own from the Humble Image Comics bundle). However, I enjoy the free comic books, which are nice for short bursts of entertainment.

Anyway, thanks for the regular updates :)
If you want to build up a library of freebies, search Comixology for 'fcbd', 'free', 'sampler', and 'preview'; there are at least 393 freebies.

madth3: More about Dynamite Digital:
- They don't have their whole catalogue yet.
- They offer CBZ, CBR and PDF. ePub is not available for all titles. PDF's are not watermarked.
- I can't seem to directly download purchased titles. There is only an option to "Save to Dropbox"
- The site itself is awful and it seems made around the 90's.
Man, I thought you were too rough but after registering there (managed to do it on my 4th attempt), I really have to say it's 90s all the way. Looks like something from Geocities. I've got to say I'm a bit scared of leaving them my personal information... Did you get anything from them, madth3? I'm curious about the quality of scans. Is it great like stuff from Image Comics, OK like the last Boom! Humble Bundle, or worse? What's the filesize?

undeadcow: The 10 cent Dynamite comics were mostly included in the Humble Dynamite Bundle with the exception of the above. However, 10 cents might be cheaper per comic than I paid via Humble.
Vampirella #1 is from the second series, I don't think that is included in the Vampirella Masters volumes from the HB.

I got the 4 $0.10 comics not included in the HB (using Paypal).

Quality is ok, comparable to what they offered in the Humble Dynamite Bundle. The PDFs are comparable to the regular PDFs of the Image Bundle, not the HD ones. For example:

- The Boys #1 (24 pages) in CBR is 17,388 KB
- Vampirella #1 (30 pages) in PDF is 11,965 KB

A quick question. Does Comixology accept PayPal? I thought they started to, but when I click through PayPal asks me for a credit card. It's the same as with Blizzard, isn't it? They want a credit card one way or the other...

For several months now, I use only Paypal. There is an option in the bottom part of the checkout page "Send me to Paypal to select funds" or something like that. Maybe you need to check that?

But did you use a credit card earlier? I don't know what's up with this. I wrote to their support to ask. I tried 'Checkout with Paypal", and picking Paypal later. I think they require a credit card in case I would want to use their subscriptions system. Blizzard does the same thing. I hope I'm wrong though. Eh, maybe their support will help me.
Anyway, thanks for help!

Edit: Support answered that I need to have a credit card on file in PayPal :(
At least I won't go bankrupt from digital comics :)
