Locke & Key is a great dark fantasy series. I need to go and reread it.
Anyone interested in 1st digital issue of Witcher comic book from Dark Horse?
Dark Horse has changed the way they do their freebies. They just sort of show up as in your library, you don't have to 'purchase' them anymore. This probably means that they won't be in your account if they ever raise the price or remove them. A new freebie today:

New sale on a big Sin City bundle. All seven collections and the art book for only $29.99; I couldn't resist so I think I'll sell my mostly unread trades.

Dark Horse also has a flash bundle on their Strain books. 22 books for $9.99. Wish I had waited, picked up the first 21 for $.99 each over the last few sales.

That is a very good deal.

Very appreciated updates, BTW.
Reviewing the Dark Horse website it looks like their material is not DRM free (FAQ even says you don't own items, just license them); but I thought I heard someone say Dark Horse was going to PDFs you can back up. Any word on Dark Horse DRM? It looks like DC/Marvel style Comixology shell is it, but I'd like to be wrong.

You're right and Dark Horse offering PDFs is wishful thinking to my knowledge.

Life's too short to worry about DRM. When I buy something digitally I consider it legally mine. In the very unlikely event that Dark Horse goes under without a fallback plan for their customer's libraries; or they decide to screw us by removing content purchased; I'll find my books. But I'm not at all worried.

I take a somewhat different view: if I buy something and I read it when I buy it, it doesn't matter that much if years down the road I won't be able to read it again. Chances are small I'll do it anyway, and it's not like I lack other things to read. If I don't read and it's lost after many years, then it's likely I never would have gotten to it anyway. In any case it's possible to buy again, and many staunch anti-DRM people do precisely this on GOG (buying digitally what they already own), so it's not like re-buying is a huge issue even for those people.
More DRM-Free good news!

More about Dynamite Digital:
- They don't have their whole catalogue yet.
- They offer CBZ, CBR and PDF. ePub is not available for all titles. PDF's are not watermarked.
- I can't seem to directly download purchased titles. There is only an option to "Save to Dropbox"
- The site itself is awful and it seems made around the 90's.

Weren't most of those already provided through the Humble Dynamite Bundle?

I've noticed that a few days ago, when I wanted to add some free comics to my account. :(

I'm not really a hardcore comic book collector. So far, I've bought only one volume of a digital comic book (which I just found out that I already own from the Humble Image Comics bundle). However, I enjoy the free comic books, which are nice for short bursts of entertainment.

Anyway, thanks for the regular updates :)

The 10 cent Dynamite comics were mostly included in the Humble Dynamite Bundle with the exception of the above. However, 10 cents might be cheaper per comic than I paid via Humble.
