Even tough CDP reps are denying it's a fps, but a fpp game, i'm sligtly less interested it it turns out a fps with rpg elements, instead of a rpg with fps elements.
The release is still a long way off, so maybe the full game experience will differ from the sample preview the press is seeing.

Another FPS. Not enough of them already!?

Must of been nice for (some) to play it for 45 minutes while we can't even get one minute of in game footage to see how this FPS or FPP works.

So much for my hopes on 3rd person view.
I'm sure it will be an awesome game but not for everybody.

First-person only and even worse driving?
That info just killed any chance of me buying the game outside of a sale with a high discount.

First person perspective is already something I don't like (it's bearable though) but driving is something I absolutely hate in any game.

First person disappointment aside, i'd just like to see some actual gameplay. It's been years since this was announced.

First person makes me really excited. You guys don't like Fallout New Vegas or Deus Ex? Seems perfect for the setting.

Actually, aside form the parts inside airvents, I would've prefered if Deus Ex was 3rd person.

well, if it really will be "GTA clone in 80s retrofuturism" - Im sold. Im not about visuals (since e3 trailers always look better, than the real game) - this type of games just feature lots of replayability (it it really will be more gta/srow, than mafia), due to its sandboxy nature.

I would accept third person view as well as isometric one. FPP is what I was waiting for, I'm definitely in. Still waiting for more leaks. Especially night footage, can't stand too much light.. All the rest I've heard so far seems to fit my cyber needs.

Excuse my ignorance if this is too obvious (I am relatively new to CRPGs). Isn't it possible to support both first and third person perspective in the same game? The Witcher let you choose three dfferent camera angles (although all of them were third-person perspective).

Would that introduce any gameplay/design problems?

I don't understand why peoples upset about FPP. It's their decision, they want to tell us the story in this way.
I'm sure Cd Projekt will deliver us a revolutionary great game.

OY! Haven't been so excited and wet since the Unreal tech demo back in 95/96. I hope it's in 1st person, very few games are playable in 3rd person as it blocks too much of the screen.
