Anyone else skeptical about this one? It's fixed funding campaign so they get the money only if funding goal is reached but still...
So is this primarily a mobile? or a pseudo mobile computer?. Nothing about whether its a tri or quad band - yes it says LTE/4G but lots of countries use 3G 850/900/1900/2100 bands and not all bands are available in every country.
$830 is a very high price for a mobile device (even if u can hook it to desktop blah blah)..

ET3D: Skeptical in what way? I don't doubt it's Canonical doing it, I don't doubt that such a phone can be designed, and that Canonical has a prototype for it and can produce such a phone. I can't be sure how well it will turn out (though I have some trust that it will be okay+), and I have some doubts that it will get the $32m.
There's a lot of fanatical linux fanboi's who will throw money at anything which promotes linux. I wouldnt be surprised if they gave it a shot.
