John Carter: Warlord of Mars
Crowdfunding Campaign Trailer
John Carter: Warlord of Mars is a First-Person Action Game set in WWII Europe and on Barsoom (Mars).
John Carter, a US spy on the hunt for the high-profile Nazi Hans Kammler, travels across Europe near the end of WWII. Playing as Carter himself, you will head from London to Berlin, onto Owl Mountains and the Antarctic in a cat-and-mouse adventure with plenty of stealth required for survival.
Eventually catching up to your prey, in the middle of a battle, something happens and you are knocked out. When you awaken you find yourself naked and alone - somehow you are on a magnificent new world: Mars.
The wild and dangerous planet Mars is known to its natives as Barsoom.
After several adventures where you meet the fearsome Thark warrior, Tars Tarkas, and myriad other creatures, you eventually meet and fall in love with the Princess of Helium, Dejah Thoris. Her people are at war and she asks you to help, but she is subsequently kidnapped and you may be her only hope!
Barsoom is filled with a rich history, despicable creatures and different races, all fighting for dominion over ever-diminishing resources and each other!
Mars' different gravity has given you superhuman strength and agility which you must use to conquer your many enemies and become a true champion on your new home!
Edgar Rice Burroughs is famous for creating Tarzan, but he is also one of the most important science fiction authors because of his classic 1912 novel 'A Princess of Mars' which introduced the world to the character John Carter.
More than 110 years later, and after several films, comics and novels, John Carter will finally make his videogame debut and be brought to life in our new PC game John Carter: Warlord of Mars. Using the amazing UNREAL ENGINE, the grandfather of science fiction meets state-of-the-art gaming technology bringing the world's most influential interplanetary warrior to life.

John Carter's background ticks all the boxes. He speaks German, Polish and passable French. He studied Physics and Aeronautical Engineering, and at Yale, he represented the college at football, sailing and fencing!
John joined the US army on the day Pearl Harbour was attacked and landed in the Corps of Engineers from where he was headhunted by General Groves to work in security and intelligence.
