nijuu: Anyone noticed more kickstarters not making their goals lately?
Haven't done any statistics. Average success rate on KS is 44% according to the stats page, and for project I backed I haven't seen it go that low. Still, it's possible that people are pledging less right now than a couple of months earlier. There's quite a bit of variation. Certainly April-May had quite a few projects reaching the most funded list, and it's possible June-July weren't as big, although they still had some high pledge projects such as the Omni or the ARKYD space telescope.
I showed my girlfriend the phoenix kickstarter rewards for Project Phoenix, and now I'm stuck with a FIERY STEED $80 pledge :p
I threw my 20 on Prject Phoenix. There's a lot of talent there. Apparently they've made a deal, that the high talent will work pretty much for free in exchange for possible percentages from the profits, which makes the low 100k goal possible. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1300298569/project-phoenix-japans-indie-rpg-feat-aaa-talent

Finally a privacy problem has arisen with Kickstarter. Successfully funded projects send a survey to their backers (usually when ready to deliver) to request details like address, requested rewards and suchlike. Since name and address is usually asked for, these surveys should be confidential. However Kickstarter has not been using encrypted (https) webpages for these resulting in survey data being viewable to anyone with network access. I have raised a support request with KS to fix this and would suggest anyone else concerned do likewise.
A acessory software for tabletop RPG players:

"Beta access. Download the DRM-free beta right away and receive a Steam key once we're on Steam. And as a bonus you will also receive the Paranautical Activity papertoys!"

After all the 'issues" doubt they will get on Steam (this is there 2nd shot at it)
in the comics realm:

The Chronicles of Faro - 27 days to go.

"An immortal love story begins when an ill fated time traveler attempts to prevent the Lincoln Assassination. Cover by FRANCHESCO."

attached pic is one of my favorite ones (that i can post on GOG), the pitch video shows loads of the other artists styles who are going to be featured.

84 pages and some tarot cards featuring the comic characters.

"Told in 3 acts with a kick ass James Bond themed action intro, we are using 4 artists from four corners of the world in order to provide the mind altering effects and experience of time travel, wounded psyches and lost memories. "

Gods Will Be Watching campaign is 36 hours till the end.
I'll give Balrum a callout also - it's a good-looking RPG with the promise of a world that works around you (NPCs following daily schedules, etc). Very few games offer this (the classic Ultima series, Witcher and Divinity Original Sin being other examples) and they're close to their goal.

CoolMiniOrNot have just announced their latest (fantasy-based) KS:

Wrath of Kings (Sep 16)
