tinyE: Odd question, does anyone here ever have the volume on their PC just go down on it's own? :P I'm not talking about the speaker itself, that's a physical knob, I'm talking about the mixer (the little speaker symbol on the task bar). Every once it a while it will just go down to 92% or 80% for no reason. I'm wondering if there is a key I'm accidentally nudging that might cause that to happen. Shit, I hope my PC isn't haunted.

And no offense to Crow but feel free not to answer. I'm afraid I can't rely on the advice of someone who sits down and watches a Tom Cruise movie without being paid or threatened to do so. :P
Your been bugged, someone is listening to you and have turned down the volume because it's too high
for their listening devices..Possibly C.I.A.

tinyE: Have I posted this pic yet? :P
It looks like a tinyE type picture, but it's a new one to me. So that's the next Lego game we have coming to GOG? :-)

No need to explain, I always enjoy seeing your pictures and your posts. While we don't exactly have the same sense of humour, I do find yours to be very enjoyable.

ddickinson: Another big romantic. :-)

But you are brave going against the Catholic Italian/Irish Mafia. I'm sure even now they are hunting for you. I hope your partner is at least Catholic, that might buy you some sympathy from the mob. :-)

If you don't mind me asking, is your partner Scottish?

Also, good evening, adaliabooks! I hope you are doing well and that you have had a good day?
She is Scottish, but just about as religious as me.
I'm fine, had a bit of office work stuff to do this morning but it was quite successful so that was good. Just been programming and relaxing since.

avatar
adaliabooks: And although it's Christian rather than Catholic here in the UK all the shops close early on a Sunday, because for some reason life is just supposed to stop on a Sunday and we're all supposed to spend the day in church or something....
avatar
ddickinson: Psst. Catholics are Christians, did you mean Protestants? The shop thing is also to give local traders an increase in sales, which is why only the bigger stores are forced to open short hours and shut earlier on Sundays. It's not the most logical way to help the smaller traders, but it was hard enough getting the larger supermarkets to agree to shorter hours. Smaller business also use Sunday as their day off as it's more convenient as less people are shopping on a Sunday. :-)
I meant that the UK is just generally Christian rather than Catholic. Whatever the reasons it's still annoying... I can't imagine it does much for smaller traders because the town is always dead on a Sunday, because half the shops are closed, so the rest of them don't even bother to open either...

Do you get to watch the match on T.V. over in the land of Oz?

I still think it's a sweet story, running away to be with the woman you love. It's not quite the same, but my partner left a very rich and influential family to be with me, which was so great. I'm glad your day has been a success. How is the programming coming along? Have you created a nice action plan to help you better manage your game, or are you still just having fun exploring new techniques?

That's becasue we kicked the Catholic buggers out. :-)

The Sunday hours thing is quite nice in the summer, especially with many markets and events operating throughout the day. It gives smaller stores and vendors a better chance, rather than competing with supermarkets and their low prices. I know not everyone likes it, but it does help the economy overall.

I may have slightly exaggerated the running away part (my parent's weren't pleased, but I didn't exactly run away) but yeah. Best thing I ever did.
It sounds pretty close to me :)
It's coming along ok, I've got a pretty good idea what I want to do, just currently figuring out how to actually do it... XD

That was probably a good idea :)

I'll take your word for it, I'm just glad they don't have it in Scotland and if we need something on a Sunday we can just go to a supermarket on the Scottish side (we live on the border).

Well it's still a nice thing. I hope you two will have a very happy life together.

When you do finish your game, I hope you will give us all a chance to play it. Even if GOG does not accept it you can still sell it from your own site, like many developers do. What games would you say you are drawing inspiration from?

As long as their is no season ending injuries,I'm not worried if we win or lose..

You mean like football, where they get a slight tap on the shin and it's all over. I know, horrible when that happens. :-)

Hopefully nothing too serious will happen injury wise for either team. It can't be nice for any of them, not just because of the injury, but becasue of the implications it could have for them and their team.
