It seems that the directors for movies and games seem to be completely ignorant to the fact their products are stolen regardless. Look at The Banner Saga 2. They crapped on their fans and investors by being DRM only, and still the game was being pirated 30 minutes after launch. They even still had an attitude towards DRM-Free, a lot of passive aggressive comments, and hints that they would maybe use more intrusive DRM next time, meaning less hope for their investors to get a DRM-Free day 1 release of game number 3, if they get one at all.

Exactly. As long as people don't realise that in a digital world stuff will be pirated regardless and accepting that fact nothing will change. But on the other hand also consumers should be more aware of DRM. Most of them just don't care about it - which is a real shame...

Concerning Banner Saga: They just don't learn. Even with more intrusive DRM the game will be pirated and you'll also might lose more customers - scared away by the DRM - in the process...

I know, but I doubt I will be up for much longer. My partner has been having a lovely night out with her work friends, so I am just waiting for her to get home, then it is off to bed. And I am feeling tired enough for a good nights sleep, which will be nice after the lack of sleep last night.

The day's all right here, aside from the weather being garbage. I'd play more Shadow of Mordor, but I'm worried about my computer bursting into flames.
And so, I'm continuing my back and forth on what else to grab, knowing full well that I'm up to my forehead in items and don't need anything.

Well I am up anyway, plus I like to know she is home safe. And it will be nice to spend a little time with her before we fall asleep. She has work in the morning so it won't be too late a night, and hopefully I will get a few good hours of sleep tonight.

Sorry to hear about the weather. Is the game that taxing, or is the heat (weather) causing you some hardware problems on top of normal usage? Have you found any fun games in your other games while you wait to play Mordor again?

It's just the heat. Makes me nervous about running stuff that I know uses more processing power, since the temperature rises noticeably every time I do.

I've got plenty of other things. A lot of the stuff I have is much easier on the computer than that one.

There are a few like Age of Mythology that I've been waiting for, most are just one's that caught my eye. I'm sure when it comes down to paying for them I'll weed about 2/3 of them out, I usually do.
