ddickinson: Good evening, ElT, from the land of no internet! :-)

How was your trip to university?

I must admit I have never seen the movies, but I have heard from so many people that the Hobbit films are terrible, mostly due to Jackson's additions.

Yep, then I will have to put up with you Steam babies kicking off if a code does not work. :-)
Well Internet is thankfully back which means i'm from the land of internet present :D

Well boring....the class today was dull because everything that we learned i already had in two different classes in previous years :|

I guess you don't miss much. They're not really bad movies but they fail miserably as Hobbit movies and they rely too much and CGI whereas in the LOTR movies hand-made effects were still present...

Good evening *big energising hug*

So more of a recap class than a new one. That was a same, but hopefully other than that you are having a nice day?

That might be true, but don't most movies now rely on CGI?

*big return hug*

Well, let's just say I'm glad it's over. Miraculously all the work I needed to do today still needs doing because my boss found plenty of other stuff for me to do.

Now I'm just trying to relax, watching a couple episodes of The Water Margin while downloading some comics.

I am sorry to hear that. I can see why you would be glad it was over and looking forward to a nice rest. At least tomorrow is Friday, meaning one more day until the weekend. Do you have any nice plans for the weekend, or for your birthday?

*big relaxing hug*

No special plans for the weekend, no. But I took my birthday off and going on a nice shopping trip with my mom.

That does not sound too bad. I hope you and your mum have a wonderful day. Preferably a nice and sunny day to go along with it. And of course, I hope you get lots of nice presents. :-)
Alright, internet is still wonky :|

But unintentionally. Otherwise it was a good day thanks.

Yes most them do - which results often in ridiculous effects which tend to look soulless. Even nowadays hand-made effects can look more believable (and i always present the example that the effects from 2001: A Space Odyssey still look really good - despite being made in 1968.

Yezemin: Hello, ElT!
Sorry to hear that you're day was apparently not the bestest one an imagine. But good to hear that you can relax now. Hopefully tomorrow will be better :)
*hugs, waves, helmet tips, cookie dough, and Drano*

Good evening, ThursFred \o/

So you may yet still be ElT of the land of no internet? o_O

I am glad you had a good day.

That is true, Hollywood does seem to like its shiny graphics. Maybe they learned that from AAA developers, they all seem to put shy effects over quality. :-)

All is quiet in the Valley ):-| It's somewhat boring, but at least it is the good kind of boring. All thing considered, I approve of this evening. *stamp*

Good evening :-)

That is good to hear. But be vigilant, Lord Moomin. You can't trust those peasants. They will rise up when you least expect it. The land must be held at all costs. But with you in charge we know the valley is in safe hands. :-)

I hope not...it seems more stable now...but utterly slow...
But apparently a lot of people are still having issues as evidenced by the fact that both #KabelDeutschland and #Vodafone are still trending on twitter ^^

Thank you :)

Well might also work the other round but yes they like those shiny effects :)

Well of course we would prefer you to be ElT, of the land of much internet. :-)
Hopefully it will be fixed soon so you won't have to worry.

That is true, I was just being silly.
