I loaded my truck with my dog and cat, a few clothes and a laptop. Good to go. It was the relationship that I was stupid enough to get into afterwards that really kicked my ass, I'll take a bunch of water anytime. :-)
Geez, now I'm whining. I'll stop. ;)
We share a similar outlook on money and "stuff" not being that important. It's still sad to lose them, but they are not everything in this world. My partner asked me recently what is the most important thing I own that would rescue from the house if there was a fire. I would have said her, but I don't own my partner, so I guess it would be a book my grandmother gave me before she died. Other than that, I'm not sure what I would save. There is nothing there (other than my partner) that I could not live without.
Also, you Americans and your English. It's arse, not . One is a [url=https://kookyplanet.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/bart2.png]bottom, the other is a donkey. :-)

My friend's been more or less the same, which means that, all things considered, she's doing fairly well.
How' s your mother doing?
I'm glad you friend is doing well. Things staying the same are not always the most encouraging, but at least things are not worse. And these things can take a long time to recover from, so it's expected to that there will be times when things seem to stay the same.
My mother is doing very well, thank you. She is having some trouble adjusting to the walking sticks and not having her mobility, but she is getting used to it, and hopefully it is only temporary. We have had to change her medication, as the original ones were making her be sick after almost every meal, which was doing her no good. So far this week she is doing fine, driving me crazy, but then my partner tells me that's just karma for how I am when I am ill - finally getting a taste of my own medicine, apparently. :-)

The F.E.A.R. page says 19th February at 1:59 PM GMT. So I would think it would be the same for all the games.
"Become a highly-trained hunter of the supernatural in F.E.A.R. Platinum, available now, DRM-free, on GOG.com. The 50% launch discount will last for one week, until Thursday, February 19, at 1:59 PM GMT."

It's called Youverlakia, but keep in mind that if you look it up you'll stumble upon a variety of recipes; myself I prefer the simple version with just rice in the broth.
Here you go! Bom appétit!
But now you got me curious - what soup is there that you don't have to chew at all? Sounds more like baby-food than soup. None of the ones I make are of that kind.

Glad to hear she's doing well. And I was about to suggest the same as Endre, a walker; from my experience it's more stable, and causes less anxiety to use.

I really prefer thick soups that are closer to 'stew' than soup. Beards and liquids you eat with a spoon can be problematic. :-)

Thanks! I'll try that soon, I love soups and always like to add new ones to my recipe collection.

Good day!
My weekend was great, thank you. How was your weekend? Have you had a good start to the week so far?
Thank you. Regarding the walker: as I said to Endre, there is zero chance she would use it. She does not even like to admit she needs the walking sticks, let alone a walker. I think she would kill any of us if we brought one of them home for her to use. Not literally kill of course, but then she is a dab hand with a butchers knife. :-)

What a lovely day, typical of brazilian summer. Rain and fog all day with temperatures that don't go over 25°C.
How was the weekend for everybody? Gonna make it a strogonoff filled baked potato now. Quite good actually.

What can I say, we farm girls are made of some tough stuff. It takes more than a serious visit to the hospital to make us behave. :-)
I think if her troubles with walking were more permanent, then I would try to push the situation, but the doctors think it will just be a few months, and she should be showing slow signs of improvement along the way.
