Not in for a game, I just wanted to recommand the Broken Sword games to anyone who likes Adventures and has not played them yet. Good solid adventures.

None for me, thank you (I'm a DRM-Free only girl). But +1 and a *hug* for the generosity.

I got that bundle as well, well only the lower tear. I was curious to see what Detective Grimoire was like. I already own the other games on GOG, except for A Golden Wake, which doesn't really appeal to me.

Edit: And as Moon said, the first two Broken Sword games are highly recommended. The first game is set in France, so you might see Owl make a cameo. :-)

EndreWhiteMane: OK so far, still pretty early. ;)
I understand the 'stir craziness', can't wait till spring gets here.
avatar
ddickinson: Do you get warm spring and summers where you are?
Usually can start planting cool weather crops in early March, warm weather crops in mid May.
July and August get quite hot.
Hard to say lately though, last year was a mixed up mess. :/

We are getting mixed up weather as well. We keep getting a lot of flooding, which as you can imagine, is disastrous to the crops. But fingers crossed it won't be a problem this year. I enjoy spring and summer, but I am not a big fan of the heat, luckily we don't get too hot over here. But I do enjoy a nice stroll in the countryside in the spring and summer, enjoying all the animals and the beautiful sights. Plus I get to wear some pretty summer dresses, which is a nice change from how I dress for work. :-)

Thanks and +1. But I'm almost Steam-free. And I have too many games already.

Yeah, I look forward to shorts, t-shirts and moccasins. Much better than the 'polar bear suit' you need now.
I heard England has had some truly awful floods, makes me shiver when I think back to 2008.
Over 2000 families here (including me) lost everything that year, I love water but it can turn pretty evil at times.
Good day, everyone.

EndreWhiteMane: Mornin' everyone.
If Moon won't complain I will, Iowa is stuck in January. -12C here headed down to -17C (0to -10F)
WTF?? ;-)
Sounds like you could use some of the soup I made.

Thanks for the +1, most of my Steam stuff is from bundles or their silly sales where things are 79 cents or so.
And a few things simply not available elsewhere. ;)

Flooding tends to be our worst weather. We don't get too much snow, and we don't get too much heat, but we definitely get a lot of rain. Some parts are more at risk than others, but it can be a horrible time. For the last decade or so we have been getting flooding most years, but luckily only a few years have been really bad. I know one city a few years ago had over 10,000 families effected by the flooding in their region.

I am sorry to hear you lost everything in the flood, and that all those people had to suffer. I have never had to suffer that, thankfully. Where we are the worst we seem to get is surface flooding that drowned the crops, but I know else where in England they get it a lot worse, especially if a river burst its banks. We have lost a few animals due to flooding but that is about it (other than vital crops).

Have a kiss and a big hug for having to go through it all. *kiss and a big cuddle*

How are you today? How is your friend doing? I hope she is recovering well?

Thanks but I weathered it fairly well, I lost a lot of money and 'stuff', neither of which I consider very important.
I loaded my truck with my dog and cat, a few clothes and a laptop. Good to go. It was the relationship that I was stupid enough to get into afterwards that really kicked my ass, I'll take a bunch of water anytime. :-)

Geez, now I'm whining. I'll stop. ;)

A Greek one - meatball soup with an egg and lemon broth base; depending on your tastes, you might need to add a bit of salt, pepper and lemon; I needed all three.

A bit cold (hence the soup), and tired, but ok overall.

My friend's been more or less the same, which means that, all things considered, she's doing fairly well.

How' s your mother doing?

That sounds tasty! Does is have a special name so that I can look up a recipe?
