moonshineshadow: Oh well, playing old Nintendo games is always nice (it is just bad for reducing the backlog). I often replay the old SNES games because they always cheer me up :D
CarrionCrow: There's all kinds of good stuff for that system. I know there's stuff for the SNES that I still want to play and beat. I normally don't look at games I haven't played, I only replay the games I had years ago :D

moonshineshadow: What games to you want to play?

Let's see... I normally don't look at games I haven't played, I only replay the games I had years ago :D
Offhand, I still want to beat Shadowrun, Soul Blazer, Terranigma, Illusion of Gaia, pretty sure I never beat Contra 3 when I was younger, Super Mario RPG, the real Mario 2, Actraiser, Cyber Knight 1 and 2, Lufia 1 and 2, the Mega Man games, Ogre Battle, definitely want to play the original Shin Megami Tensei stuff, and there's a part of me that wants to beat U.N. Squadron despite knowing that game will continue to kick my ass.
Which games do you enjoy replaying?

That makes me want to find an emulator and play some of those. But as Moon said it's a bit hard on the already infinite backlog.
I do have a ton of the old Sega games I haven'y played yet.
How is everyone this evening? Good I hope.

That leads down a path so frigging long, it can generate a backlog so large that you can't even call it an addition to the stuff you already have. That doesn't do it justice. It's its own backlog mountain for you to climb, on top of every other thing. I do have a ton of the old Sega games I haven'y played yet.

Doing all right here, thanks. Watching videos, deciding what to play next, all that fun stuff.
How's your day been going?

Just finished up an online course I took on teaching gardening to gradeschoolers, I'm a gen-yoo-wine certified teacher now. Can't for the life of me say why but I'm really looking forward to it.
Spending my game money on textbooks is kinda weird though. :-)

Games are nice, but they don't even begin to cover every part of the whole meaningful existence thing. Just finished up an online course I took on teaching gardening to gradeschoolers, I'm a gen-yoo-wine certified teacher now. Can't for the life of me say why but I'm really looking forward to it.

That could be why you're looking forward to being a teacher.
Don't worry, there'll be another sale soon, and a big one at that. You'll have plenty of chances to spend what you've got left on more items. -laughs-

EndreWhiteMane: Figure after teaching kids for a while I may need a few more shooters in my library. :-)
CarrionCrow: Certainly do respect you going out there and doing it. There's no way on this earth I could mangage to do what you're doing, Not a chance.
Just getting old enough that I'm starting to feel a bit guilty about not sharing some of this stuff that's plugging up my brain.
Plus these are kids that very few people give two shits about, that makes me feel worse.

EndreWhiteMane: Thanks, I appreciate that but I don't think it's anything especially noble on my part.

Just watched an old '50's sci-fi flick called "Attack of the Puppet People", about people who are shrunk by a doll-maker to be his playthings. Creepy as heck, and totally great!

Just sending some love out to Fred the Thread. I hope you're all doing well, and that you all had a lovely weekend!

Spending game money on textbooks? Sharing your knowledge with youngsters? A punishable offense, you understand. ;) *(in case you lack notifications like myself sometimes, check your chat)

Good evening. =) *big hugs*
Can't complain here. Just had a bite to eat, now it's switching between games and videos.
Yay for having the attention span of a methed-up ferret. -laughs-
Hope you and yours have had a good weekend as well.
